GTA Online help

I dont know what the fuck is going on lol...

I created a character (pretty darn ugly - character creation blows) did what i thought was the tutorial... got the drugs, got a car put the tracker n shit on it... went to ammo nation for the shotgun yada yada...

Well i log back in and see i have no character... i then restarted and went back and the servers were down... tried again and got in and my character has changed clothes to some dorky ass shit and is now bald and looks like he's wearing makeup! WTF?

Do your online characters change clothes and stuff by themselves.. or did my account get jacked or something?

I'm not trying to find a barber shop and clothes store but none are on the maps... its only showing ammo nations and stuff...

I'm confused... am i still in the tutorial?

I lost my character also..... twice now

I tried to use the online line mode once and it locked up the Xbox completely. Until I hear that it is working properly, I'm going to stick to the Story Mode and randomly mugging the citizens of Los Santos.

Try going to online mode and pick play solo to see if it starts up. I was having a hard time, but I never lost my character. Also Try removing that character and just pick random (seem to work for me) My on line character is black/asian man with corn rolls. I Heard if you play a female you join in quicker because there are not a lot of people picking females. Good luck man

Yeah something is fucked... my character was like physically changed... dressed in goofy ass clothes (might have been a new random generated character taking my place) and i have no access to barbers, clothes stores... but access to other things... it's odd! I can go up to a barber shop or clothing store but the doors wont open... and their icons arent on my map.

I'm fed up... they need to fix this shit!

Had a hard freeze yesterday morning and lost my level 18 character.  Had to start over twice losing one character after the tutorial.  i finally have my dirty legged chick up and running luckily I still had about $130k in the bank from my previous characters.  Fortunately I was just banking all my $$ and not buying cars & property because I have read about a bunch of people losing that.  It can deal with in game glitches but losing characters & progress is a critical failure.  I am hoping they remedy this situation soon and find a way to at least compensate for these losses
