Anyone else hear about the Kmart brain fart. Dani said last night that Devils War already has his MW3 copy.

Yeah I mentioned it earlier in the week in a thread somewhere that there were places like K-Mart that had released the game already. None here in my town, but probably a good thing anyhow as there's mixed reports on whether they'll be resetting stats etc before the proper release date. My money is probably on no though as they haven't done so in the past.

Yes...MP is already enabled. IW said that they will not penalize the players for a marketing mistake.

Damn, I heard that they were banning IDs of anyone on the MW3 servers... That would suck.

In a tweet, Robert Bowling did make clear that pre-release play is not authorized, and there may be consequences for those accounts that try to do so. Hopefully, they'll follow through on that.

Bowling says that they will not reset everyones stats. He says it is the retailers error and it's not fair to punish players. "If you got the game early you would play it" : "We don't want to punish people who are not cheating"

I would like to see a stat reset, but it's not really a big deal. After the first day there will be such a variety in ranks it wont matter much.

yeah give it a week and whoever has the game early will no longer have any advantage because we will have the knowledge of the maps and guns, etc. and im not worried because there will and always will be plenty of noobs and randumbs to abuse!
