Nice topic chef.

I played a tonne of Centipede, Galaxian (Canadian Galaga) and 1942.

We should be reminded that even though games now cost $60 it is still cheaper than back in the day overall. If I have a bad game, just throw another quarter in and try again.

when I was a little older double dragon

when I was in high school Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat (1-2), then Killer Instinct (i used to spend 4-5 hours a day at the arcade after school playing these)

I spent more than $60 on Operation Wolf (loved that fake uzi Smile...

I remember spending a whole roll of quarters with my buddy at the local pizza parlor and beating Double Dragon (at the end you had to fight each other)...

Double dragon, defender, type-R, bubble bobble(the music of which I hated).

Loads more I cant remeber. I could have bought a house straight out if I had of saved it up.

I always put quarters into Skee-Ball. I was never as good as my dad though... he excels in all underhanded sports/activities you can think of... Skee-Ball/Bowling/Horseshoes/Bocce, he destroys everyone he plays, and smiles while he does it.

I remember pumping quarters into Gauntlet at the local pizza joint. They didnt get mad at us for being there all the time as long as we bought a slice or something. "Warrior needs food badly". I cant count how many different games i feed. Mortal Kombat,X-Men,Time Crisis,Terminator 2 were a few of the "newer" ones i played alot.
