Prestiging, Tokens, Weapons, etc

So alot of us are at least past the first prestige. I hit the button sunday night and when I went into the prestige shop I used all three of my tokens haha. I brought over the ACR 6.8 ( Love this weapon, this is my new galil) Also unlocked assassin and Steady Aim. Gotta have my perks. So what did you unlock when you prestiged?

What guns did you think were the best throughout your prestige? I personally liked the Striker and the ACR. The Striker is the best shotgun I've seen so far. Ive cleared spawns out with the Striker. Awesome range and damage. One gun I think may a bit to much is the type 95. Chest and above and its one shot and your done. I was playing last night and got one shotted and was like wtf? Checked the killcam and seen it was a type 95 and was like ahh that gun. I tried it out last prestige and wrecked with it.

Do you think you will go through all the prestiges or quit after a couple?

i'm going nonstop all the way through. I also unlocked the ACR. Then unlocked the stinger and Assassin. Next token will unlock the G36C as I now consider this my go-to gun (with red-dot).

I tried the G36 and gawd the sights on that thing are HORRIFIC. As I am not a rds kinda guy I gave up on it.

I unlocked 1 custom class (as I love having the spare for the riot shield setup), Steady Aim (smgs are just silly in this) and Scavenger for those games where I actually live a while, it functions well with the Specialist class as well as the fact it is unlocked quite late level wise.

I was debating unlocking weapons but I want to experience them more this time around as I wasted so much time getting the gold camo on the UMP first time. Too many decent to good weapons available early on although I do miss my P90.

Next token will be for either another custom class, assassin or dead silence (when I play the shit out of it this prestige to see its value). Maybe unlock the P90 in a moment of weakness.

I'm only doing the first one. I unlocked asassin and 3 classes, so for this one I think I am done with only one press of the button.

I need all the extra classes. Going all the way.

Extra classes unless I really fall in love with the M60 or AK47. So far liking the weapons.

Extra classes with the 2 tokens I will ever get. Plus I love the MP5 anyways, so who needs the ACR? lol

I bought 3 extra classes with my original tokens and I'll do it again with my next token. I think the guns they give you from the start are awesome enough to wait (M41A is insane good). The only thing I would think about unlocking would be Assassin.

You guys sure love your extra classes I played my entire black ops career with only 6. Custom Classes is last on my list for my tokens.

I'm with you Vegas. I have redundant classes with just 5 slots, and steady aim is just too good to pass up.

I had two initial tokens which I used on class slots and my first prestige token I used to retain the AK47.

Unlocked:
1) Custom Class
2) ACR
3) MP7

Next thing I unlock will either be another custom class or Assassin. Too many tools using heartbeat monitors for my liking in some of the modes I play, like Sabotage.

Yeah, I didn't use my token yet. Think I'm gonna use it for dead silence....

What is all the love for custom classes? I could manage with 3. A try-hard class with SoH, Assassin Pro and Stalker Pro with an AR and Machine Pistol.

A rusher class with SMG du Jour, Extreme conditioning, Quick Draw and Steady Aim.

A Defender class with Blast shield and an LMG.

What else do you need?

I can honestly see myself never adding custom classes and using all the tokens on Perks, Weapons and Equipment.

I like the extra custom classess becuase I may run the same weapon type with perks but I like being able to switch mid game between support killstreaks and assault killstreaks depending on the flow of the game and how my connection is doing that particular game. Makes it nice to have a kill whore specialist killstreak with SMG set up and a support killstreak with SMG set up. Plus I have to have my riot shield for taking on juggernauts. Its just so much fun to run up and kill them before they get a chance to do any damage.

My plan at the moment is to try to prestige all the way through. I have found the FAD really suits me so I am going to unlock it each time and I am trying to get an extra token to carry through to the end to reset my stats as well.

Just keep in mind that resetting your stats literally resets everything. You will be back to Prestige 0, Level 0. I'm not 100% sure on whether or not you'd have any of your unlocked items anymore either but my guess is no. It basically acts as if you've never played the game before but doesn't force you to create a new ID just to keep leveling up which some people love to do.

1. UMP blindeye, asassin, stalker

2. L118 blindeye, asassin, marksman

To be honest I don't like any of the ARs except maybe the T95, hate the LMGs, shottys are shitty, the unlocked smgs to me are no better than the ump and same with the sniper rifles.

I like to have multiple classes that are very similar but with a tweak..
I have a SMG class w and w/o supressor. One with blast for the nade happy rounds. But sometimes I never see a nade...So I also have a class with hardline. If spy planes are up to often and I feel those are whats beating me I have a rarely used assasin class.
I have 8 unlocked now and will use most of them thru-out a night.

I just have so many class slots because I looooove to play with as many different weapons as possible. Sure I have some fallbacks if I just really suck it up but I love to just give every little combo a try. I find some really strange combos that seem to work well.
