Emblem Protocol

Hate to be the wet blanket here but I was playing with some of the new members recently and saw some pretty raunchy playercard emblems.
I'm certainly no prude, but being that we posture to be a mature clan, perhaps we should police ourselves and maintain some guidelines on what playercard emblems you display.

The ones I'm referring to were basically explicit female anatomy representations.

So guys, show some class and clean up the 12 year old emblems. Feel free to share in the NSFW section, just not out in plain sight. We have female members in here too.

Good point FBD. While The1 never explicitly addressed playercard emblems in the rules I can see where you are coming from and agree with you. I think Dave needs to chime in here on how he wants to proceed.

I agree and I meant to address this the other day. We chose as a clan not to use sexual type avatars and signatures on the forum out of respect of the female members of the clan. We have got some new guys that don't really know the previous discussions that we have had, but lets do the same for the playercards. Keep them creative but clean.

I agree, I haven't seen any of the suspected emblems. But we should all be respectful each other. Female members/wives or children at home that watch us play, etc..

I really like how alot of members have worked 30 and their division into their emblems. we can mix up our clan tags and still show some form of unification.
Plus when I'm sending invites it's easy to know which division someone is from.

I agree 100% with Audio. I report anything that irritates me or is just plain stupid and i think ive played around 2 or 3 matches with a fellow 30 that has an offensive emblem. Its the main reason i wont invite them or play with them now. Its just damn childish. I think the worst ive seen is a few different ones of planes crashing into twin towers. Id just love to reach through the screen and punch the idiot in the mouth.

Yeah think I was in the room when you said that. Hope my new Jets logo made the cut though. Just gotta get some CE30 reference in there now!

I saw some proposed Jets logos online and it reminded me of the prestige Jet image. Looks great Cerebus.

I report all of them too. Not sure what good it does, but hopefully it'll bring negative attention to the offenders. I actually preferrend the MW2 playercards where you unlocked certain logos for completing challenges...more of a badge of honor if you were able to achieve some of the tough ones like LMG perfectionist, or 25 AC130s, etc.

You give a bunch or immature teenagers items like pickles, cherries, animals, etc...c'mon...what did they expect?

Yet they took the symbols away from our clan tags....I know, right?

I gave up on trying to make a cool emblem. Now I just have a well know local highway sign, as highway 12 runs right down the beach.

I too gave up on the cool emblem since no one really cares that much. I imagine that simple is better as the image flashes by so fast when you are killed. I track to the name anyway and ignore the rest. Clan region ID, Flames, Alien, and Cup with Current Prestige Image. More goofy than cool. More complicaed than neccessary. It keeps me moderately entertained.

Rif is always bugging Phillyfan to change his emblem, so I thought I'd carry it into the forums.

totally agreed. sure i am glad you took the time for your art work. but u know u can get pen and paper at the store for that. i just like to keep mine pretty plan. u know ec30 and something kinda cool in the background. ur right we are all over30 likes not act like 12 year olds finding their first dirty mag.
