5000 days to me is not a temporary ban. But is this just for an account or any account on that system?

I'm not sure but I'm 99.9% sure its a console band or even you're IP(?) address.

From what I've read in the past, Xbox does console band and ps3 bands IP address.

My buddy's kid got permabanned on PS3...I think it is a console ban.

Hopefully they research the reports at least and don't blind banhammer people. I know with our gold clan tags we may have received many reported events from stupid players.

I'd like to think they have a way of watching the match that the player got reported during, or after. The boosters I founds were reported once I finished the match, even though they left early.
I've rage reported a few folks, would hate to see them get banned unless they really were cheating. Also, I worry about the players that hang around for 30 seconds after we spank them. Are they reporting us?

It's easy to tell who's cheating by using Elite. I looked at the leader boards for Dallas, Tx. The whole first page was boosters. One guy had 1015 game win streak, another had 700+, some had win percentages of 95%, K/D's of 2+.

We had one guy on roster 2 in 30 that was already 10th prestige and had 70 headshots in 1 game. He is no longer with us.

My son's friend gets banned all the time on ps3 for hacking mw2. He has a jailbreak ps3 that hacks his banned ps3. I didn't believe it until I saw it. Right on the screen a bunch of numbers scamnling to create a IP address then he can get on. Since it is banned he has to do this every time he turns it on.
