Assassin's Creed Revelations

Anyone else playing this? I'm thinking of trying it out tonight when I get home for a short bit. Not sure if I should do any of the story first or just jump into the mulitplayer? I just hope the matchmaking isn't as bad as from AC:Brotherhood or MW3.

Wait, AC has multiplayer? What do you do? Kill other Assassins? That sounds fun actually. I NEED DETAILS OLDSCHOOL!

Never played the MP but love the story line. I've played 1, 2 and 3 and will defiantly get the new one.

I know they have different game modes but yes it's kill the others before the kill you.

I have it and love the detailed maps and storyline. Started the ACR campaign, but it didn't hold my interest like brotherhood. It doesn't help that BF3 and MW3 are out at the same time.

Yep, they have MP! I think it's been improved since AC: Brotherhood. They have comparable game modes to COD...Wanted (like FFA), Manhunt (TDM), Artifact Assault (CTF)... I know in AC:B they had some special skills which might be like perks. And you can choose your character...not as much customization as COD but still like others have said the graphics and environments are amazing.

You have to be more stealthy than in COD/BF and the kill animations are brutal...lots more blood, impalements, stabbings, axe bludgenings... You should pick it up.

If anyone else sees me on playing AC, feel free to join in! I can get away with playing AC more than MW3 and sometimes the wife will even play and stab some people...win!

I have AC:R. I haven't tried it yet but I did do the MP a bit on Brotherhood and found it to be pretty fun, just annoying at times. I was playing the FFA mode I guess where you have a target to find and someone else has you, but I thought you get a bonus for stealthy kills. A lot of the time I would just sit down on a bench and wait for the person to run by.

The weird thing about the Brotherhood multiplayer was all of the random NPCs moving around and some of them would be duplicates of your target... but fortunately for the most part the NPCs don't suddenly sprint around the map, they tend to have one speed, and that's walking.

I will be getting this game...but will probably wait for the price to drop. This is probably my favorite game series...but I've only played the story, not multiplayer.

Installed today and played a bit. Definitely still a great game! I tried both MP and story mode....had a problem with story mode. I can't hear the conversations between Ezio and any other character so I had to turn subtitles on. I only heard a brief part of the conversation between Ezio and some guy on the Animus Island. Anyone else experience or hear of this?

Hoffy, I saw it at our Canadian Costco for $30 just yesterday.
