mod controller

does anyone play with a controller thats been modded. does it help or a waste of time.

Custom controllers are cool...
but modded controllers are widely viewed as a cheat, and generally frowned upon.

Cheaters-Glitchers-Hackers are not welcome around here.
We all get a good laugh out of people when they call us hackers...
And we all can laugh because we know no one is cheating...

Agreed. we play to have fun at the game and nothing more. When we win it's because of great communication and everyone knowing their role. As said, if it's just a custom controller i.e. with tactical layout or rear knife buttons then go for it. If it's modded to auto rapid fire or auto aim then that is no better than out of map glitchers or hacking.

its a black ops. controller from game stop. with back buttons. that can be set to do what the other buttons. do. i dont like cheaters and i do not play that way. sorry if you guys thought that.

I have had horrible experiences with after market controllers they are all P.O.S's.
I will never drop $$ on any controller that is not a mfg one.
Both of the ones I had wore out and were very sloppy within 3-6 months (madkatz)
They are fine for madden and woods games but awful for FPS's


There are a few companies that take a stock controller and add buttons to the underside for tactical purposes. That is the route I would go if interested..But your looking at 3 figures for one of those.

yeah I saw that one. It looked interesting but never tried it. Maybe look up some online reviews and see what they had to say about it. My son bought a Mad catz controller and the thing was a big junk pile. I haven't liked anything but the stock xbox ones. I do want to try the Kontrol Freeks extensions though.
