| Howdy guys/gals. Thought some of you might enjoy a couple pics of my first controller. It is over 50 years old and still works! I put it under the Christmas tree every year for the grand kids. Think about it, this thing was made 20 years before some of you were born! [img] [/img] | |

| @ BD:
This engine and coal car are plastic but obviously very rugged. All the other cars are steel.

| I had one of those! hahaha I'll never forget I was maybe 10 and I hooked that bad boy up for the first time not realizing the small gauge wire I used to attach it to the track. Full throttle and POOF insta-melted the wires I was like "Daaaaaaaaaaaaaad!!!" hahahahaha | |

| Too funny. Hope his response wasn't "Jackass what did you do?" I actually only set that train set up a couple times but I know it had some output to it. I almost think they took those things from the war department after they were done using them for torturing the enemy in WWII.

That is a beast and a lot more sophisticated than mine! Make sure you hang on to it, must be a collectors item by now.

| Yeah, no plans to get rid of it. The trains an transfomrer have been sittin so long I will have to have them gone over before they r ever used again. | |
