| When my wife accesses her work's remote access, my connection lags terribly. How do I know how much bandwidth to dedicate? What do I need to find out first? | |

| This is a complex problem. You can throttle her bandwidth usage with special equipment. You will need to isolate the ports on your router that her remote access uses, and then use a router or switch with qos limiting, that will limit the rates for that port. Or you could limit her bandwidth completely based on her mac address with some routers and switches. Again, this can become very complex, costly and time conuming. | |
