Astro A40 HELP!

I played yesterday for a couple hours, layed my A40s on the couch, came back a few ours later and all of a sudden no sound. I didn't trip over or step on any cords, unplug anything, nothing. I was the only one home so no one else messed with anything.

When I put them on I have a slight hiss in the right ear. If I turn the volume all the way up I get a little bit of sound in the left ear, still nothing in the right and it sounds like it in a tunnel.

Anyone ever heard of this? Ive been searching online and cant find anything.

Never heard of this one before and not sure how it hooks up to the xbox. I know I have had to unplug things before and then on the ps3 main menu go to the accessories and set it up again as it had gone back to default. If that doesn't work then I would contact Astro. They have been helpfull in the past for me. They actually sent me a new maxi amp when mine developed a short. All I paid was to have it shipped out there.

Its hooked up to the USB for power and optical cable for audio. Im wondering if it has something to do with the rechargable batteries even though it gets power thru the USB, like the batteries are dead and it won't switch back over to the USB or something. All the lights come on like normal.

Im at a lose.

I bought my set off Ebay so to contact customer support, I have to register them which requires an invoice number which I obviously dont have.

If anyone knows of a phone number for Astro customer support I'd be greatly appreciated.

Luckily, my headset had not been registered and I was able to use the Ebay auction number as an invoice. I submitted a case so we'll see what they say.

I plugged the headset into my iphone and they worked so Im afraid the problem lies within the mixamp.

It will probably be a day or two before they answer your case and when they do it is one individual to deal with. I was able to look a phone number up online but whenever I called there is no answer. They are pretty good about getting things straitened out. the only pain is e-mail tag.

You have got to be kidding me! After all the back and forth between Astro and myself they tell me I'm basically SOL and gave me a link to their discount private store. The same day the set I ordered last week is to arrive at my house.

Anyone need a second headset??
