The Vector will be back after being the fastest firing weapon in MW2.MP and SP.

P90


Teh nubz weapon of choice will be back after being a popular weapon in COD4 and MW2.MP and SP.

Skorpion


COD4 SMG making a return as a very close range weapon in MP and SP.

UMP


The highly over-powered UMP is giving us an encore after being the most versatile weapon in MW2.MP and SP.

ASSAULT RIFLES

SCAR


The versatile assault rifle from MW2 is making a return. Game modes not confirmed.

FAL


The FAL will be back after appearing in MW2 and Black Ops. The FAL is also know as the modders weapon of choice . MP and SP.

FAMAS


The famous Famas used in MW2 and Black Ops is coming back. It has not yet been confirmed to be fully automatic or a burst weapon.Game modes not confirmed.

M14 EBR


Will be making a return from MW2 as an assault rifle (like in Black Ops) rather than a sniper.MP and SP.

ACR


The loved ACR will be back after being a very popular AR in MW2.MP and SP.

G36


The G36 will be featured in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] as it was a widely used AR in COD4.MP and SP.

AK47


Unsurprisingly, the AK47 will be back in MW3 after being featured in COD4,MW2, and Black Ops.MP and SP.

M4A1 Carbine


Another unsurprising weapon,the M4A1 will be making it's return as the weak AR.MP and SP.

The close cousin of the R700 in COD4 will be making its debut in MW3.It is semi-automatic.MP and SP.

We've all heard of it. The semi-auto sniper that always comes second to the bolt action rifles in IW's COD's.MP and SP.

Only confirmed LMG for now is the very powerful RPD making a return from MW2.MP and SP.

EMP Grenade: Temporarily takes out all area electronics.

Littlebird: A tiny remote-controlled helicopter.

Precision Airstrike: Calls in an airstrike on a targeted area.

Stealth bomber: Calls in a B2 Spirit to carpet bomb along a line designated by the player.

Remote Turret: A remote controlled turret.

Directional UAV: A UAV that can be directed into areas to scan for enemies.

Remote Mortar: Direct a mortar team using a zoomable camera view of the map to call in strikes.

Airdrop Trap: A booby-trapped airdrop.

Ammo Resupply: An ammo airdrop.

Escort Airdrop: A protected airdrop.

Specialist Strike Package: Unknown.

NEW PERKS

Blind Eye: This makes you immune to computer-controlled and player-controlled killstreaks. The pro version makes your launchers lock on faster and gives you extra bullet damage to vehicles.

Assassin: This makes you immune to UAV, thermal, and heartbeat sensors. The pro version also makes you immune to CUAV, EMP and no longer shows your name in red or the crosshair in red when you're targeted.

Point Guard: Every two assists count as a kill towards your killstreak.

Dead Silence: You make no noise.

Recon: Gives you a special kind of radar to spot enemies.

Also,Commando and Stopping Power will not be making a return in MW3



Other Info


Clans. In MW3 they have added a clan interface for better interaction between clan members and other clans. This interface will include clan rankings,rankings within the clan , etc.

Spec-Ops will be featured in MW3 and will work the same way as it did in MW2.

It has been said that MW3 will pick up where MW2 left off.

MW3 Hype++

Man - I thought I was getting burned out on this franchise, but all of a sudden, I'm really looking forward to this. I just hope they use the same netcode from MW2 as I'm not a fan of the setup in BLOPs.

I am a little concerned about how this Elite stuff is going to work. Is anybody in on the beta yet?

I signed up for the beta and got an email 2 weeks ago asking me to finalize my sign-up information. Apparently now I'm just waiting for them to launch and select

SCAR and ACR all day long...The killstreaks seem like there's a lot of choices that don't allow you to let them run and run around still helping your team at the same time like dogs or attack helicopter would. I think the best improvement is going to be the interface for communicating with clan members and friends, the interface now seems grotesque, a PITA to use, and a complete after-thought. Lazer sights and bi-pods seem sweet. And I'll put money on it now that the famas will be a burst weapon but it will be more powerful than it is now.

I hope that they will incorporate a party making system like BO. it is easy to find clannies from the in game menu right now, but MW2 was a PITA to get a party together easily.

Loving the return of the .50 cal as well and hopefully a return of the thermal sight from MW2 which is sweet compared to the blurry POS in BLOPS

I know it's a problem with the PS3 overall compared to the Xbox, but man do I wish they'd include some kind of "party chat" option. Or at the very least the ability to just do a mute all but party members in a lobby. It is so annoying having blaring music and having to figure out the culprit every lobby. /grumpyoldmanrant

Nice. I loved the G36 in BF2, hope it's great in MW3. ALso Laser sights on a Pistol sounds fun. No deadly sounding killstreaks, who's gonna be the first to coin a phrase for the Little Bird. Bitch Bird?

Oh, and the ACOG was easier to see thru on MW2. In fact all the sight attachements were better. I guess that is why I hardly use them now.

And yeah Cerebus, I'm sure we all agree that the individual muting is a pain. I think they like th fact that we rage at the other team between matches and you gotta admit it can be entertaining at time to hear some of the BS that is said.

Oh yeah, sometimes if I have a great match I purposely unmute people just in case they are bitching so I can goad them on.

For the record, I'm going to borrow from Trailer Park Boys right now and nickname the Little Bird my Shit Hawk...."I'm watching you boys...like a Shit Hawk!" Also gonna call it now that will be the packed in product that comes with the uber prestige edition.

i gotta say i was a UMP bitch on MW2 number one weapon used alot of people got pissed off when i would use only the ump and win the game. Or i would just run around a knife and get the game winning cam i hope they bring this back!

SO i have been reading around and i seen some word of Kill streak 25 Tactical Nuke. Looks like there are going to be alot of camping yet again on MW3 also was reading
The next Call of Duty game WILL have a premium online feature.

To put it simply you will be given the choice to spent money to receive premium membership thus obtaining additional features.

This may mean things such as,

Ability to buy CoD Points (if feature is continued (Guess)
Dedicated Servers (As it says "dedicated technology" in the article
Social Networking features (Confirmed in article)

Good. Becuase on principle I will refuse to pay for additional services. Purchasing the game, console, DLC's should more than cover the cost of develpment for the designers and still make them a pretty penny. I hope that those that refuse to pay for the elite service are not restricted to only playing with others who refuse to buy the elite service. That would suck if some of the clannies buy into the elite service and I wasn't able to play with them. We will see how that elite service works after the release.

Yeah the elite service is for like clan management and to track youre k/d and w/l and crap like that i dont even think it would be worth getting

The basic elite will be free to all users
This will be all your stat trackers and friend comparisons
The theatre will be free also
I believe the groups/clans pages are also in the free side.

The paid for elite service will be bringing competetions
The will be all sorts of events, new events daily, from screenshot to win/loss record many for prizes. Sometimes cash even a jeep.
You will get unlimited access to all DLC's

Elite is rumored to be $74 for the year. 3-4 DLC's is $45-$60.
So it really doesn't sound like a bad deal.

I will be getting Elite. If it is a boondoggle then I will lick my wounds and write it up to life mistake #124756 and move on. Hopefully I can buy elite with PSN cards... I am also willing to pay for a better connection. Not the 14.95 for WoW sub, but I would be willing to part with $5 per month to reduce the aggravation I had last night. $60 a year to not have to get sh!t hit detection? Worth every penny.

While id love dedicated servers i know its just not going to happen. Activision is just too cheap. Like ive said though go play MW1 or 2 online and you'll see it runs 100 times better so im expecting 3 to run the same. Treyarch from everything ive read and seen doesnt use the same netcode and such as Infinity Ward so their games always seem to run like garbage. Ill be sticking with the basic Elite package as i have no use for the stuff mentioned in the pay subscription part of it.

I will probably get the elite services for this one reason. I've already spent $45 on DLC's this year with another one scheduled to be released. That's $60. The Elite is $74 plus free DLC's. So its actually $15.00 a year.

It's worth it to me to try it out and see what's up with it.

Like snow said the nuke will not be returning. This is my first Cod title so I dont know the devastation of the nuke but Ive heard some horror stories.
