| The wife and I will be in and around the Orlando area visiting her parents March 4th-11th, they're staying there for 3 months. Just looking for any suggestiins for things to do and see. We are going to Disneyland because neice and nephew will be there also. We are planning to go to the Salvador Dali museum as well. So far, that's all we have planned. |

| Unless the kids are really young the universal parks are way better than Disney. It's is a bit dated. |

| Dali is a must, If you have never been there you should go.
Ringling Bro museum is worth a stop. It's not circus stuff but the art is really cool.
MacDill Air Force Base did have F4's flying in and out all the time. |

| Yeah, my wife said She'd be happy if the Dali museum was our only stop, so we are definitely going there. I'll look into the Ringling Bros one too. I think her parents will have alot of stuff planned for us when we get there too. |

| If ur looking for some old school true Florida fun, silver springs in lame county is good. Kind of an out door zoo with animal shows, gator board walk and glass bottom boats. Also rock springs (not sure which county) is also good. It's pretty much a natural lazy river, also has large swimming area. There r places to rent inner tubes on way in and plenty of trails and gazebos for picnic and grilling. New Smyrna beach is nice, small little beach town plenty of room and with out the conjestion like at Daytona. | |

Uh-oh...you and walldoggy are gonna get into a disney battle! lol No Stream is right in that Disney World is much larger and more extensive. However, Disneyland is the OG Disney and to me that makes DisneyLAND better. | |

| Not too far, I'm from Sanford, bout half hour away north of Orlando. New Smyrna was about 45 min easy, rock springs no more than 20-30 ( it's a state park), and I think silver springs is like and hour or two north. Don't remember where Titusville is exactly but know my parents used to live there, before me of course

| Ok just looked at google maps, Titusville is about 50 min east so that said new Smyrna is a straight shot up 95 from u doesn't look to far, rock springs would be bout and hour northwest, silver springs on the other thing is a haul, it's up in Ocala | |

I've lived by and been to both, they are both over priced wretched hives of scum and villainy. unless you drink the water on It's a Small World, then they both rock |

Yeah it's at the universal park. Got to see it last summer, it was packed shoulder to shoulder. Stood in line for about two hours to get into the castle ride. It was fun though. |

| Disneyworld is always a good b/c you can be a kid all over again. If you're into the roller coaster thing, Universal is the bomb plus you have Harry Potter-land. If you're into the historical thing, St. Augustine is about 3 hours away and it's the oldest city in the USA.
While you are in Orlando, if you want chicken wings, make a stop at Buffalo Wild Wings. I miss it dearly and can't get it here in Canada. |
