Nothing much, just started work. Reviewing drawings today. I'm stoked for the start of the NHL play-offs tonight though!

Just working. American Idol and ABDC comes on tonight, so its TV night with the wifey.

A few beers in the fridge then?

Working some overtime. 40 minutes to go to finish this 12 hr shift and head home for some Zzzzzzs.

In keeping with the topic, I am fighting with a freight company that gave me a 1 business day lead time, but has still not delivered 7 days later. Also mocking up a drawing for some warehouse racking.

Wokring. All day 9-5 design meeting for a new application set to implement at the end of the year. Normal stuff for me. In-laws coming in this afternoon to stay a night or two with us so at least one night of no play (they use my gaming room when they are here). At least I got to run for a bit last night. I wish I had something better or more interesting to share.

Revisiting the notion of private practice since they are cutting our health care essentially adding $400 a month to medical costs that don't include the increased cost of scripts. 1099 sounds so nice right now... The lack on guaranteed income is getting close to offsetting the hassle of the work I do here.

In-laws here, but leaving, then coming back 2 weeks later so Father in law can recover from ankle fusion. That may take 6 weeks.

I have a patient that keeps trying to get me to go out to the parking lot to take his new Ford GT for a spin. Yes, a GT, not a GT 500, and I am very afraid I will wrap that thing around a telephone pole. here is a pic of what his car looks like. With the wet roads today there is no way in hell I am taking that thing for a joyride, but I think I may regret never getting to hammer on the throttle of a high end car.

Nate, between that car and not getting to keep the Ferarri engine from Iraq, I really feel for you....but with the wet roads, safety first. He needs such a nice car b/c no woman is going to want him in his toothless state.

Start day with updating fleet programmer on eztech. Call Greg at wabco and get a FRK approved for a school bus. Hook laptop to truck to see why engine is shutting off. Get truck around shop and it shuts off. Run KOEO test and IPR valve fails. Test circuits and replace IPR valve. Test drive and get customer out of hotel. Call bus air in Texas about a part that was supposed to be here today. Find out it got shipped to sister store 60 miles way. Hook laptop to another bus for low power and test drive see boost is to high. Get back to shop and see that MAP is 19 psi with engine off. Tell tech to check MAP sensor. Wait for more fun shit happen after lunch.

So not much to do then.Ha Ha

Im sitting here just finished with my lunch dreading having to go back to work. Slow time of year now that Easter is done so the last few hours will crawl by. Add in another day of wanting to tell my boss to go F himself. Oh well there's always after work spending time with the g/f and Nixon then kicking the shit out of some pixel people later tonight. All in all just another typical day for me.
