All i need is the release date so i can take the time off from work this time. Sitting in line for 4 hours then playing MW3 till 3am then getting up for 6 to work was a bitch.

I didn't know that Halo 4 was being released on 11/6, so the 13th makes sense for BO2

I will likely renew my Elite since it will be linked and they will offer the same deal they did for MW3. Only this time I will care when the do DLC.

I think I will try this one as I liked BO. So put me down for at least coming back to check things out. With that said I am still loving BF3, but miss killing myself with napalm.

I'll buy it. But Elite can kiss my ass, and so can any kind of special edition with DLC. I bailed on MW3 after the first two maps came out (half a year after the goddamn game). Never again will i put money up front for a multiplayer game.

Hope the weapons are better too, and less nerfing. But unless IW's incompetence spread down the hallway, I expect BO2 will have the same excellent chat and loby functions as the original.

I would like to see what changes they make to Elite before committing to it but will in all likelihood get BOPs2 when it comes out to hang out with you all.

If BO2 has a hardened edition that bundles the DLC I will be buying it again.

I highly doubt BF4 will be out this year, BF is usually on a 2 year cycle that is why EA releases a Medal of Honor each year there is not a new BF

COD releases every year because there are 2 companies developing titles. IW was mw3 and 3 arc was BO. BF has only one developer so they are on a 2 year cycle, or so it seems. Plus EA is the evil empire so unless they can figure out how to make a ton at it it wont happen.

Yes BO was fun, but don't forget how excited we were for MW3 since we were all frustrated at how laggy BO was.

Yeah, we were talking about this last night. When Black Ops was out, everyone was saying how MW3 would be the BEST. GAME. EVER. Oh, those were the days, huh?

Personally, I had a lot of fun on BO. Level of fun has gone down on MW3, but I'm not sure if it is because my expectations were raised, my play time has gone down, or if it actually is a worse game. I do like a lot of improvements in MW3 like the rage mic, support KS, and of course, DMH. I hope some, if not all, of these make it to Black Ops 2. (rumor says no death streaks... lol that's ok I guess.)

No game is flawless and I'm sure Black Ops 2 will have it's own set of issues too, so let's all sticky this thread and revisit in a year to see if we're all as excited then as we are now.

Sweet, I will not be tellin my wife when I get it. It is not a money issue it is because she dislikes all cod games

Yeah well the FUN level in Blops was 10x higher then MW3 I think. I don't know why, even the private games in MW3 aren't as fun as Blops. Atleast with all the lag in Blops you could still win games and not have your entire team punished for winning, only to end up losing the game you were dominating.

Medal of Honor Warfighter comes out in Oct so thats EA's new FPS contribution this year. Kinda like BF but with more COD type features. I cant see myself ditching Blops2 for it like i did with BF3 for MW3.

What about Ghost Recon Future Soldier? Comes out May 22.

I agree, since the last map pack doesn't release until winter. It will probably be like a new game release, like the back to vietnam pack before. That would be cool if it was cold weather warfare with snowmobiles, snowcats rigged with guns and tanks etc. or even a couple maps that take place at night ( like hanoi ).
