I did this a long time ago and was really impressed. It works very well. I'm streaming videos from my PC to XBOX all the time. I added DIVX support and it opened up a whole new world of content. There used to be a link with DIVX support that you added to your MC, but I can't find it. Must be some licensing issue. If I can find it again I'll send it and you can avoid this tversity stuff now. (maybe tversity is good, I don't use it)

- The WMC library on xbox isn't updating when I've added new songs or playlists to my computer
I had this problem too, it drove me crazy for a few hours. I can't say I know the answer, but what I did is create a new folder in a few of the WMC folders (name them all differently) and drop a piece of content in there and see how it changes your WMC on xbox. You'll find some of the folders appear and not others. From there you can see how the structure works.
Here's a case for how it got used in my house.....
4 year old twin boys got this hotwheels car with a camera in it.
http://www.hotwheels.com/videoracer#/home/ They'd do their thing and make videos of weird little boy things. Then they'd plug it into USB cable on the computer. I wrote a simple program to copy the content from the car to the WMC directory that they could click on their own, and then they could watch their home movies on the big wall mounted TV through the XBOX.
