So I've been taking a break...

So for the past 3 weeks or so I have only played about 3 rounds of CoD. I have to say that getting away from the game has actually been nice. Keep in mind that I've been playing the CoD franchise since CoD4 and only own CoD games. I'm thinking that in another week or 2 CoD will seem fun again.

If you look back at the CoD games they are all basically the same. I think they really need to revamp some of the community playlists and also have "unranked" games available with different rules.
How cool would it be to have a game type where everyone has the Specialist bonus, or maybe a map that is set up like trench warfare and you can only stay ON YOUR SIDE.

Anyone else take a break from gaming and come out ahead? I know I'll probably suck for a couple days until i get my fingers back into it but its a well needed vacation.

It seems that my break has been so long I now have a "reach-around" counter....is it good or bad that I have zero?

Yeah...I take breaks frequently from this chaos...it's good for you...after awhile the game turns into a grind that isn't very fun...a little time away helps...

And congrats on your first reach around...very nice!

I took one 10 day hiatus from MW3 back in January I think. First game back I got my first 5 kill pred missile, and a game winner with pavelow.

In my opinion it is better to get a reach around than have to give one, but I have been known to be on both ends.

If you were talking about that sexy[b] GIRL[b] I was talking about, no She called me about the gym membership but I haven't gotten back to her. SMOKIN HOT body, but has the Cindy Crawford mole thing going on so I don't know how I feel about that.

I took a five day sabbatical last week. That's big for me unless I'm on vacation. But even five days off can do wonders.

I'm on a permanent vacation from MW3. Just can't take it any longer...to play with a constant handicap is just getting old.

At least in golf if I spot a guy a few strokes, we still play from the same tees on the same course.

I don't have to play with a 50 pound rucksack on my back with my shoelaces tied together while only being allowed to swing left handed. That's how I feel playing MW3.

I watch vids posted here and it looks like some people are playing HC modes compared to what I've been experiencing.

I'm on break as well. With golf season and softball for the oldest and t-ball for the youngest my time is stretched pretty thin. Two one week vacations this summer and it will be time for Blops 2. Whew, time does fly.
