| I was on it tonight. It was one of those nights where the aim was off and I seemed to lose every gunfight after getting a couple of hit markers, shot in the side and back, choke point slaughters, spawn gangbanged and predator'd at 95% of a flag capture. At least I only blew myself up a couple of times. Other than just rage quit and shut it off, how do you guys power through these types of nights? I usually slow it down and try and take up a defensive position with cover and throw on my blind eye/assassin pro class but that wasn't working too well either so I got tunnel vision and ran around like an idiot. Very frustrating. About the only thing I did ok with is take out a bunch of choppers/reapers and pavelows which my deathstreaks were directly responsible for. Any suggestions from you guys would be helpful so I can deal with runs like this. | |

| On a normal night I run with sensitive on 8 but if the connection seems slow and I'm getting out gunned I kick it up a notch or 2 .sometimes that helps me . But I do have a pretty good patience level . Or try a weapon you wouldn't normally use | |

| Everyone says to slow down but that doesn't usually help me out. I switch up guns and try to chain something together. I'll take some route nobody is taking and try and flank. Some matches just blow, you can be taking people out with Iron sights only getting long shots and next you can put 8 center mass and still get one shot'ed. Recently during the day when no one is on I'll play KC and TDM and most times I'm getting hammered. I get into a 30lobby and play Dom and I'm smoking people. This prolly doesn't help at all, BUT remember alot of the time it isn't you but the game that is sticking it to you. |

| I either go Try-Hard with my MK14 Blind Eye, Assassin, Sit Rep, or my Asshole Try-Hard with the P90 extended mags and rapid fire support UAV only, Sleight of Hand, Quick Draw/Assassin, Steady Aim | |

| I have a routine that I use that usually solves it for me. It works in game or in between lobbies so its just a matter of preference.
1.) Take off your headset and take a deep breath. Let your ears cool down to improve your equilibrium (to improve your your aim) 2.) Drink about 1/4 of your beer (if you don't have one, get one). If no beer in the house then heavy wine sips will work. If no beer or wine, take 5 more deep breaths. This will lower your stress level and improve your cognitive abilities. 3.) Put your controller down (if you have not already). Stretch your hands. This improves your flexibility in your fingers and relaxes your fingers for better reaction time on the buttons. 4.) Stand up and stretch. Bend down and touch your toes to stretch your back. Again for relaxation and stress relief. 5.) While stretching your back press and hold the power button on your PS3 until your TV screen goes black. 6.) Press the power button on your television. 7.) Pick up beer\wine and proceed to your couch\deck\porch\bedroom. 8.) Finish your beer\wine
This relieves the stress of the moment and improves my gameplay 100% of the time. Hope it helps! |

| Step 1. Remove MWFail from your PS3 Step 2. Place MWFail disk on your coffee table to protect furniture from cold drink Step 3. Insert Blops disk into PS3

| If you are raging or about to rage then STPR06 has the right solution.
At night I play with a group of guys that it doesn't matter if I run into a little lag.
Typically we power through it with a lot of teamwork and funny banter.
If we lose, we lose.
Personally, I either slow it down and play defensively with the Stinger or XM25, or I speed it up with my P90-rapid fire-x mags ECP or BEP /AssP/SP dual mp9 flash bangs
I may run ReconP with flash bangs to help the others see the enemy.
I run support streak instead of assault.
Sometimes if it gets really bad I will sit in a corner and knife people as they run by me. That always cheers me up.
It helps if you have the "Ghillie in the Midst" challenge complete so you get the better camo.

| I think I was with you in some of those matches last night and know how ya feel. I wrote something very deep & zen, but the forum timed out and I lost it all...So, I'm going to rage quit out of the forum for now. | |

. lol I cashed out all my online poker a long time ago.... But yeah, I thought it was that too when I first saw the thread title. Back on topic, I just try to power through it. I may switch classes if I'm using something I don't normally run, or I wait for my Dead Man's Hand to kick in and go looking for someone to kill with that. That usually gives me a chuckle. If it's really really bad, I just stop and look for air support to shoot down. Once we the game (mercifully ends) I ask that we leave the lobby and try somewhere else. And I remind myself it's a game and not supposed to be that stressful. | |

Nights like that is when I start hinting at a pew pew lobby. Funny I got 2 bounced checks from them like 4 years ago. |

Never thought I would ever do that in MW3 but once I got started it was a blast. Stream has found some great locations on the new maps to snipe. . |
