| I was so close to a positive k/d and since this patch its plummeted. I'm seeing TERRIBLE hit detection and worse yet...MANY times what I see on my side is getting one shotted (not from a sniper rifle). My connection is shit but I can typically play around it but not recently.
Last night seemed like the ultimate proof when I saw Naven unable to go positive in multiple games lol.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced any downward spiral since the last patch?

A big part of it was narrowing down on the issue. We thought at first that it was a matchmaking issue. Which now that we have found an issue in the Hilbert curves that determine regional distance we realize it is part of the problem. Also the player visualization interpolation is not some single line of code somewhere with an on/off switch. It changed slowly over the two years it took to make MW3 and so unraveling that has been difficult. Our first attempts at fixing the issue did fix it, but only for some regions. It’s something that we’ve been looking at for the entire amount of time the game has been out. I have no idea why you got banned from the forums. I wasn’t involved with them at the time. but I have been completely dedicated to MW3 for the last month or so and am pushing very hard to make some changes.
So no its not crap internet! There is an actual problem that needs fixing wether it will get done or not is a different matter! | |

| I've also noticed that I tend to have worse hit detection when I'm in a party versus playing FFA solo. I guess thats why I do so much better in that game mode.  | |

| Go Back to Black Boys. It's been a ton of fun this week playing again, resuming our usual dominance. Hit detection has been head and shoulders above MWFail...even with a west coast host I have 3 bars and it's playable. |

| MW3 has been shit on the PS3 side for well over a week. Played BO last night and it was ok, a few games the lag was unreal. Lately in BO the connections seem better in GW |

| Whatever IW did this time they really fucked shit up. Tired of one patch it seems better then they patch it again and it's unplayable. I'll keep trying, but I figure I will last 2 games, rage, then go to BF3 where I can actually kill people I am aiming at. |
