| The limited edition comes with karkland and some misc / random weapon gear. My question is - is the gear actually on the disc or do you get it once activating the code? Or better yet if you purchase the limited ed. used do you still get all the goodies? | |

| if you buy it new, you just enter the code and you will unlock all the karkland maps and weapons. if you buy it used, especially gamestop they will ask if you want to buy the unlock codes. | |

| Considering you would have to buy the online multiplayer code (and I'm not sure but separate Karkand code?), you might as well just buy the thing new for like $40 and be done with it. |

| i can get the standard edition used off craigslist for 20 bucks
i found a limited ed. copy for 30
the multiplayer code is 800 ms points - so roughly 8 bucks there
now i orig bought the limited ed new and took it back months ago when nobody was playing it - would i still have / need any of the codes for multiplayer or karkland if i had them previously? | |

| Not 100% sure but if it's like the PS3, you probably didn't delete your BF3 save/profile crap so you won't need the online code. It will still be working right? And can't you just redownload the Karkand stuff as a "previously downloaded" thing on XBL? |

| yeah thats what im thinking - it should all still be there buying a used copy is no diff than putting soemone else's copy in there or a rented copy im pretty sure the authentication comes from a token / file thats installed on the xbox once the code is activated - i havent deleted any of that so it should still be there (in theory)  | |
