| Looks like it is going to be $99 http://www.callofduty.com/elite/be-a-founder.htmlIncludes disc and 1 yr subscription to COD Elite. This will get you the monthly DLC releases included in the price. I guess that saves you $10 from buying separately. None the the links on that page let you pre-order... yet. |

| 99 bucks!! I am so in on this.......That makes the ELiTE cost $40. Even if IW only does 2 DLC's htis will still be worth it! |

| I just called my local gamestop and the hardened edition is in their system so you can pre order it now. I already pre ordered it so I am going up there to upgrade mine to the hardened edition. |

| I have a $50 credit at Amazon that I got when I bought my PS3 last November. I was considering using it on MW3 but I seem to remember a TON of people who preordered MW2 from them and then didn't get it near release day. I may hold off and use it on BF3.
Thoughts? I will _need_ it on the 18th! |

| I see the hardened edition is listed on the gamestop website for purchase. It sounds like it is worth the money for the DLC alone. |

HAHAHA.....I am taking a vaca day on the 8th, I am going to the midnight release and plan to rip open the box as fast as I can to start playing. I know there are at least 10 guys taking the 8th off to play MW3 all day. You can do it Spider.....hit the big red button! |

| Last time i was at Gamestop i renewed my power rewards subscription and for the hell of i threw down $5 to reserve MW3. I never worry about doing it for any game since ive never had a problem getting them release day. Anybody know if the reservation covers just the basic edition or any edition i want? I dont want to get there for the release and have them tell me i can only get the basic edition since i didnt tell them i want the hardened. |

They only had the basic one in the gamestop system until yesterday so you pre ordered the basic. I am going to gamestop today to upgrade my pre order from basic to hardened |

| Upgraded last night as well. Cost me a measly $5 more for the hardened. Only thing i didnt like was the goober at gamestop that seemed clueless and wasnt sure if there was going to be a midnight release. Basically shrugged his shoulder and said "i dunno". Usually they are pretty helpfull but not this time. If for some reason i cant get it then ive got a ton of other stores around here and i bet at least a few of them will be open. |

| I went out and preordered Hardened on Friday. $10 was all. Looking forward to putting the $ down every paycheck so my wife will not notice the super lame purchase. I can just pick up my shiny new box come November... Not taking the day off, but will be on that night. Hopefully some of you will have prestiged by then, maybe?
I knew more about it than the guys working the counter there as well. I have acheived a new level of Gaming Nediness. |

| Okay so I have never pre-ordered a game before, how does it work? If I go to Gamestop and preorder it does that mean I can pick it up at midnight and skip the line or do I have to still wait in line??? |

| +1 for the "acheiving a new level of Gaming Nediness"
I guess I will have to order this one online because the closest gamestop is like 1.5 hrs away. |

| Just placed my order from Hellazon.com (amazon.com) and for some reason it was $99.99 and there was a magical $10.00 promotion taken off, not sure why. With the free shipping it will be $89.99. No clue when it will show up, but at least I will not have to do a lot of traveling to get it. |

| Gamestop isnt the only store to offer preorder and midnight releases. I know my local Bestbuys,Walmarts and Targets have advertised the preorder and most of them have midnight releases as well. Im just going to Gamestop cause im trading BO,MW2 and BFBC2 and i have a $50 gift card as well. Im so pissed i had to use all my sick time already this year so i might only be playing a little bit when i get home from picking it up then having to wait till the evening to sink my teeth into it. |

this is a good question, unfortunately i do not know because i am new to the preodering as well do you get to skip the line if you preorder and go to pick it up at midnight? and if i want to get the game sent to my house does anyone have any experience with how long it takes, will you get it on the 9th or will it be later? just a few more questions for anyone willing to answer.....thanks |

| Typically pre-ordering will get it to your door the day of release, as long as you are there to sign for it. I've been told pre-ordering from Amazon can get you the game a day early on occasion. I forgot where, but there is somewhere else to order games from and you typically receive them 3-4 days early. As far as in store pick-up, your pre-order will ensure you can get a copy, which is almost never a problem. Hardened edition may be a different story tho. If you want a hardened edition pre-ordering is highly suggested.
The midnight releases usually have everyone take a number when they show up, (9-10 pm for the die hards) At midnight they start releasing the copies, in order of number received when you show up. My local GameStops have never given special treatment or "cuts" in line for pre-order or reserved copy, I don't know if best buy or others do. Some Game stores have local competitions, often the winner receives a copy of the game. If your good at FFA's these can be fun. That is how I got MW2 for free. |
