Assault streaks

I just started using assault streaks, any recommendations on which to use? It seems like some add to your kill streak, and some don't.

Right now for the class set-up I've got, my game play is prob 95% HC KC, longest killstreak per game is usually 4-5 gun only -

PP90, range silencer
MP9 akimbo - these are my go to since I rush the majority of the time, don't use the pp90 unless I camp somewhere or get low on ammo,

Blind eye
Hardline
Steady Aim

Frag/Flash

Care Pkg
Predator
Precision Airstrike

Would I be better off using a stinger as the secondary since any kills with that are basically free points toward the kill-streak? Assassin instead of hardline?

Any thing from you care package won't add to your kill streak. If it was tdm. I would say uav. Pred. Chopper, but with it being kc the choper probably is not your best bet.

I would suggest you drop blind eye if you are rushing and going for assault streaks. Use SOH as it will be more useful in helping build those streaks rushing around the map. If it gets that bad and the other team is putting a beatdown with assault streaks you can always change to a blind eye class. I would also say drop the akimbo MP9 and use extended mags on it. The thing is as good or better than most SMG's and you can shoot people at mid range easy with it.
One of my favorite assault chains is pred, airstrike, and overwatch. Like the overwatch because it it harder to shootdown flying so low and it follows you around.

I didn't use assualt kill streaks until just before I moved to BLOP1, and really wish I had started earlier (I won't make that mistake again). My KD ratio started going up a lot when I made the switch.

I personally really like the pred missile>>>attack chopper>>>>reaper flow.

Just work for your pred missle, then find a safe place and use it (should get at least one kill). Get remaining kill(s) with gun and then bring in chopper (hide until chopper gets kills or is brought down, then start killing again to get reaper).

Yeah, the KD is alot higher in those games; but when I look at the score per minute it's no where close to where it is when using specialist. So if you want to rank up quicker, use specialist; to improve KD use Assault.

It is alot more fun, though, especially the higher ones like reaper, pavelow, etc.
