Which is better, had X41's but microphone is out

I love my Tritton AX720 pro. Its the only headsets I have ever own. I have hinted to my wife for some Astro A50's for Xmas.

Sound quality for comparable models is almost identical, I went tritton based on construction.

I have the TB X11 and had a lot of luck with them. Only issue was the chat wire breaking after 2yrs of use. But they sent me new one in 48hrs. Not too bad.

I think I will give the Tritons a try X41 have been nothing but problems

TRITTION!! lol I have Ax720s I have had them for 2 years with no issues,ans for xmas ill be upgrading to AxPro+ , but I also have used the Ax180 grate headset they fit amazing

sound good on bolt butt the beach will break !

i also have the x41s, how did yours break and after what how long?

I have had 3 beaches they all break had the triton's 3 time's longer still haven't broke !

Tritton's all the way I have had 3 different pairs of TB and they all broke at the ear piece in fact the last ones did not even make it out of the package without breaking. I have had Tritton 180's (these are the only ones I would not get they are just as bad as the TB's IMO) 720's and now I have the AX pro's they are the best I have had them for over 2 years now and they are still kicking. Only issue I have is the chat cable and these break regardless of what company you go through. I am looking into upgrading to the Warheads because of the lack of the chat cable needed but they are very expensive at 300 bucks and are simulated 7.1 surround sound.

My first headset I got was the Turtle Beach PX21. Had it for over a year and then they broke at the earpiece. Bee sold me his extra pair and I used that for about another 9 months before they also broke, at the earpiece (where it connects to the part over your head). I decided to try the Sony ones, had lots of problems with it interfering with my wireless connection, so returned those. Then I looked up repairing the PX21 online and was able to fix both pairs.

I like both because there's no need to recharge, they are comfy, I like the movable mic. Overall pretty happy with them, both times they broke it was really my own fault. Maybe I'll check out Tritons one day if I ever upgrade (right... lol).

I am on my second pair of turtle beaches. This first pair broke out of the blue one night after I spilled a bottle of beer on the controller thingy. I don't know what happened. The second pair is doing fine though.

Astro's fur sure. Not only the sound quality is top notch but the versatility. And the new A40 2013 edition? Daaaaaamn!

Well I have to update my last post. I had the Warheads from tirtton however I had to return them due to that they are smaller than the AX pro's and 720's headset I had a headache after 30 minutes of wearing them. And that really sucked since I was able to find a 30 buck off coupon in my @Gamer mag to help pay for them. I returned them to best buy and I had a choice spend another 30 bucks and get a pair of Astro's A50's or get another pair of Ax pro's. Best buy was awesome they allowed me to actually open the box of A50's to try the headset on (they really didn't have much of a choice I would have gone outside and open them and tried them of in the car and then came back in if they didn't fit) They are the MOST COMFORTABLE headset I have even had. I am trying to get use to the simulated 7.1 v.s. the real 5.1 of the tritton's and my buddies are saying I am WAY too loud in Xbox live chat so I just try to talk lower (yeah right) and I move the mic away from my mouth. So far so good.
