| After having played each game now for almost a year each my opinions have certainly shifted. How about you?
I thought blops host pro was bad but overall mw3's lag comp is fucking worse. At least in blops you can compensate yourself by leading the target more or less whereas in mw3 every shot is a fucking crap shoot. Enemies just appearing out of nowhere and single (non head) shots galore what!?
Matchmaking - coincides with my first point. This black magic mystical power that's required to get a fucking game made or play musical fucking party members within XBL, or deal with terrible fucking game chat - blops wins this one hands down
Maps - there are far more maps in mw3 that I'd rather NOT play then in blops
Spawns - mw3...two words "butthole spawn"
mw3 - it was nice to see different equipment / guns and not have to sift thru dozens of contracts or buy equipment with cod bucks
support streaks - love em or hate em they were a great addition imo and helped promote a more objective approach to playing

| Honestly, I had more fun with Black ops - which is why I'm really looking forward to part 2. Groupage, maps, aiming mechanics all seemed to flow better for me than Mw3 | |

| I enjoyed HC CTF on BLOPS more than anything I've played on MW3, but I have to disagree with you on spawns, it was terribly awful on BLOPS, there were many people who made a living by spawn killing, especially on maps like Firing Range.
I like the weapon system in general better on MW3.
Hit detection was terrible in BLOPS, which is why I refused to play core, it was HC only for me in that game. Lag can be an issue on MW3 but overall I like the way it plays better.
I can only hope that Treyarch kept the good and worked on the bad....if they did it should be an amazing game,

| BD hit the nail on the head, with MW3's lag comp, gun fights were always a crap shoot. I fucking hate it when you pull the trigger, nothing happens for a split second and your dead.
I also noticed that, connection wise, playing in a party on Blops was much better than on MW3. I can rape face if I run solo but as soon as I get into a party my connection sucks ass. Always.
Being able to set up point streaks in each different class was an excellent addition. I had no problem with the support streaks. You gotta have something for the new people coming into the game to make them feel like they are contributing, which they are.
Fucking last stand/second chance has gotta go.
When Blops first came out, I had a hard time adjusting to how many more bullets it took to drop someone compared to MW2. I really don't know which one I prefer.
MW3 spawns suck ass unless you learn them and can use them to your advantage. I remember when MW3 was coming out that they said the spawns would be closer to make the game more fast pace. Which I think it did.
In the end, I can't say I really like one more than the other. Both had positives and negatives. Im just ready for another one.

This. lol I think we look back upon Black Ops with fondness because it wasn't MW3. And maybe we'll look back longingly on MW3 because it's not Black Ops 2. lol From the multiplayer info that's been posted, I like the idea that team players are being rewarded and kill whores are not - especially in objective games. I look forward to when my 10 caps a game actually get some recognition. I'm pretty sure I will miss the Support Streaks tho.

| The one thing that I wish MW3 did like Blops was to post everyone caps/defends in the lobby after each game. Your right Wally, it was great MW3 rewarded objective players but why the hell didn't they acknowledge them???

| I wished that I could share my disappointment with Blops in a way that makes sense. I do not understand how more people do not think the way I do... but I hated playing it. I got rid of it. It seemed like I was controlling toys while playing. It seemed messy and unpolished. I feel like it was because I was just used to MW graphics, but I hated it. Here's to hoping that Blops 2 is better for me, because I wont get to play with anyone anymore since everyone else will like playing it over MW3.
Do not get me wrong, MW games always have things that piss me off, but I love the look and feel of it compared to BLOPS. We will see.

| I really liked the way they had demolition on blops. They ruined that on mw3 same with HQ +5 for when you are holding the HQ and +50 for when I kill a guy geez which am I going to do? Hopefully 3arc puts the points in balance. I am looking forward to playing the new gametype Hardpoint which is dropzone without the carepackages. MW3 was fun for awhile till the fustration of the hit detections and the QSing ruined it for me a little bit or maybe I just got sick of it. Just ready for a new cod we all know the routine rinse and repeat. |

| Definitely pluses and minuses in both games but i still like black ops better. I like the graphics way better in ops, the mw games feel a little too arcade like. I like the guns better in black ops however, i do feel that the balance in weapons was better in mw3. The support killstreaks in mw3 was a welcome and i'm really looking forward to something similar in the new ops game especially getting points towards streaks for shooting down aircraft and helping out. I think that could be huge deal for encouraging more people who are killstreak impaired (such as myself) to help out and carry a launcher. I like the maps in ops hands down WAY better than the maps in mw3. Summit, WMD, Jungle, & Firing Range all the way! Just to throw out a few other things the music, sound, and voice dubs in ops was better than mw3. Again the music and voice dubs in mw3 sound too generic and arcade like (I'm referring to the multiplayer portions of the games). Plus what can i say i've always been a sucker for cold war go get the evil commies type of games and movies. | |

| I will be the one to say it, I loved both games! I agree with Slam that when you are in a party you are more apt to have lag issues, but it's a hell of a lot more fun! Both games had their issues, but I don't think we will ever get the perfect game. All in all I think MW3 would of been a better game if they had better addressed the lag comp and fixed the spawns earlier. For those complaining about spawns just think back to when the game first came out. It was 10 times worse than it is now! I think Treyarch does a better job of addressing issues before they become issues and IW waits until they get a million complaints. I am looking forward to a new game and it being the next game we all love to hate! Rage on brothers and sisters! My money is on DeltaDog for the first official BO2 rage quit!
Just think when BO2 starts getting on your nerves you can take a break and go beat up on noobs in MW3 to make you feel better! |

| I think the numbers tell the real story. I noticed the other night a meager 200k people playing MW3. Blops had double that easily on any given weekday. Hell blops has more than that NOW lol. | |

| Well looks like I am going to have to bust out the Black Ops 1 to get ready for Black Ops 2. I did this last year for MW3. IF everything that has been said about BO2 is right and there are none "PARTY CYCLING" in Xbox Live BO2 is automatically better in my book! | |
