I officially suck at BO2.

Yes, I suck too! Late night playing is not good. Too many Prestige players already. So much for trying for a better KD ratio this time around..ha! oh well..still fun to play!

I have been thinking the same thing all of you are thinking...Damn Isuck...But I am only 6 hours in and still learning all the spots people seem to camp. Lot bigger maps make camping in one spot super easy. Like many of you too, I have had plenty of "I shot him first" moments. Hope it all evens out in the end. For now I am less than 1 on kd and wl. Hope both go up as soon as possible. Send out those invites people...We need some victories!

I'm settling in now and coming up with a strategy that works for me: flanking the sides. Never has been good when I go up the middle. SMG with silencer or Assault with ACOG for the more open maps. I still suck at sniping.

I do like the customization choices you have as it makes you really think about what you choose versus easier methods where everything is on a platter. I'm running two perk 1s, one perk 2, and skipping perk 3 all together.

I doubt I'll hit the button when I reach 55. Have come to the conclusion that I don't care for various tags, etc.

Anyway, see you ingame....

I am doing a little better on this then I did on MW3.

I'm noticing this as well. Seems every time I fire first and die, it was a sub that killed me.

I'm doing pretty well compared to how I usually start out in cod games. Rockin a solid 1.07 kdr lol. Gotta use smgs on most maps (laser sight/hip fire a must), stay on the edges if you're not capping B, keep moving, and always try and use 3 attatchments over perks to win the gun battles. Thats my strategy right now anyway.

Black Ops 2 doesn't seem to live up to what I thought it was going to be. I don't think I have ever been so frustrated with a shooter.

I could be way off base on this so someone please correct me if I am wrong. But I was under the impression in BO2, when you prestige you do not lose your weapon levels. YEs, you still need to work up to the required rank to unlock them again. Once you get there though, the weapons unlock at the same level as they were before you prestiged.

That's what I've been finding out as well. I thought overloading on perks would win the day but it seems like attachments are a wiser allocation investment. I'll have to try the laser/hip fire configuration out.

I agree. I think going with 3 attachments helps. Esp with AR's imo. Grip, foregrip and stock combo makes the AR's handle really well imo.

I like the game myself. I like the bright, fun maps. I also like the scorestreak system better than any previous system. Lovin the new sentry guns that people can't just flash/knife once. I also like the shock charges.

I don't watch my KDR or W/L as much as most players. I like to watch the score/minute stat to see how well I'm doing.

One more thing I like about this game is that they "fixed" the game modes. I mean, the way you flip spawns in Dom at halftime is great and much more fair. Same thing with Demolition, they sorta fixed the overtime problem that made matches unfair. And hardpoint is just fun imo. It is like HQ with a kick.

i still have to get used to: the scorestreak.... i just can't get the same vibe as before...

Dog we only lost by less then 10 pts but agreed...dave seems to have found it. Hopefully everyone in this post is doing better now we have had some time to find what works for us. PERSONALLY, I am doing much better after learning the spawn system. Kd has climbed to 1.15 and win loss close to 1. Def helps playing with the clan. My first week I played mostly tdm. Spm killer. Dom or any objective game is where its at!

I'm going to reset my stats when I prestige. I have found a grrove that works for me. Some guns also.

Flak Jacket and Tactical Mask combo is a must for a "Take B" class.
