Double Weapon XP 2/1 - 2/4

In case you haven't heard, it is double weapon xp weekend on all consoles.

This was mentioned under another topic, but I thought I would give it a headline of it's own for those looking to prestige weapons.

FRI 2/1 10am PST - MON 2/4 10am PST

Should we get something together? I'll be on 8 pst

thanks Indy - had no idea...i have several weapons I need to finish up the 2nd prestige on - so this will be a huge help!!

Looks like i'm gonna have to dust off the AR's and LMG's to make full use of the XP's

Still yet to venture out on the new maps too.

Meh, this is pointless. Weapon XP has no correlation with the camo unlocks. The XP is the easy part to level up (imo).. the headshots and challenges should be halfed during double weapon XP... THAT would be cool!

Correct, weapon XP is just for prestiging the weapons. You just have to use the weapon, but with the double xp it obviously just cuts the time in half to add the clan tag and emblem.

This is NOT pointless Gun - if you've already got the category diamond. Each an every weapon you get to max prestige is worth an additional 15k XP - and I'm an admitted XP whore...

Haha hey no shame in that AK! I do understand how "the grind" is addicting for lots of players... and this COD is the only COD i've actively tried to prestige. I don't give two shits about my level or K/D or any of that... I just want everything unlocked so i can use it whenever i want! Fucking Treyarch was smart this time making sure you had to prestige to unlock it all permanently.

Grrrrrr just give me all the toys and let the other stupid people go back over and over to grind! haha

Had a couple of games tonight and wow the XP means nothing to me, it does nothing towards my headshots (need 50) it does nothing towards my camo's, it does not make me want to play harder, and it does not stop me from RAGE QUITING, thank you Treyarch hope you go under.

On a good note I had a couple games on MW3, zero lag, loads of kills, and a load of fun

No lag for MW3. I just can't believe it. I will have to dust off my copy and give it a try. I have been missing some of the maps.
