| A few years ago I joined a forum on the subject of web programming/web development. I would turn on my computer in the morning, reply to various topics from users, then log off. I would repeat this process, morning, noon and night every 24 hours.
After about 2 years I just said you know what....f*ck this....I was spengin way too much time on the forum, I was addicted. So I just made a conscious decision to just stop.
Now here we are today and I find myself having joined a new foum, a new community....I can already feel the buzz and excitement taking over me all over again. Already today I've procrastinated to the tune of about 4 hours worth of work....but you know what...something feels different about this one.....its based around my obsession with Black Ops 2....
AND NOW I'M EVEN MORE ADDICTED THAN BEFORE!
So tell me, veterans of this stellar community, how many new posts on average per day are we dealing with here.....I think I need to factor my use of this forum in to my daily schedule....I'm here for the long run! |

| I feel you major. The problem I am having is it is slow at work today, I should be studying for my upcoming cert test and I am trolling the forum. I guess we have to gauge the time appropriately. why not use this as a reward? finish a task at work take a small break. I think that may help me out as well. | |
