Proud Father Today

Today I watched my oldest daughter graduate and didn't realize how emotional it was going to be. My baby becoming a young woman. They sure do grow up fast. I will forever cherish the memories and I am so proud of the woman she is becoming. I sure wish my parents would have lived long enough to be there today.

Awesome Scott. My oldest is 3 and I fear that day for me will come in a blink of an eye.

Yeah, I'm with Slam. I have one that just finished Kindergarten and two who are 3 years old and I dread how fast the years with them go by. Congratulations and I'm sorry for you at the same time. You are now to her what your parents were to you; a loving annoyance that needs to quit trying to tell her what to do all of the time, but I'm sure that she loves you all the same.

To keep this in terms of this community, how long before you reach Empty Nest Master Prestige and has your wife already asked you to hit the button to reset your stats or are you both satisfied with your level of achievement?

We are done we have one more that is 10. So 8 more years and another graduation to go.

My 2 oldest have graduated and one from college. My youngest has 7 years to go. Just enjoying the last years while they last

Congrats!! My oldest is my 4 year old son and my daughter is 5 months. I'm sure I will act the same way!! Gotta love family keeps us over 30 feel young!

Congrats to your daughter from the UK. Kudos to you for your choice of attire. My wife graduates from University in 4 weeks to be a social worker, or a paid nosey bugger as I let her know most of the time..

Congratulations Scott. I can only imagine what it's like, but believe how emotional it can be. It probably doesn't sink in until you see them on stage in a formal ceremony.

Congratulations, I have a son who is just entering his freshman year and my daughter is starting middle school. So i will be right where you are at in 4 years, time sure does fly by quick.

Scott, all BS aside I am happy and also feel for you in the same breathe. I actually cried when I saw this because I can only to hope to feel the multitude of emotions you and your wife were going through that day. On one hand your daughter pulled off one hell of an accomplishment in her life and she is going to leave you and move on with her life.

Major kudos to you and your wife for raising her right.

Side note: Only Scott can pull off the MW3 tee shirt for his daughters graduation.

Sidenote, Yellow, your day will come

Hell I am a big softy I get all worked up when my daughter gets 1st or 2nd a dive meets! So I can understand and it is ok to show you're soft side (shows the kids that we are do have feelings and not just a mean or tough father)

Congrats man! My son will be a junior next year so I have 2 years and will be through the same thing. When he graduates, I will have a daughter starting starting school...
