AC3 was very good, but a little disappointing. Out of all the complaints about that game you never heard one about the naval battles. Here is a little look at the game play in AC4. It really looks promising, but I am going to keep my expectations in check.

Yeah i'm a little jaded on the AC franchise. The first one was epic... second was OK... third... idk never gave it a shot.
I like the ideas they're playing with in AC4... but i just feel like it's time for a new franchise or time to take AC into the present or something new. That could just be me though.

2 & Brotherhood were my favorites and Ezio was just a badass. 3 looked awesome and I like some of the improved mechanics, but it was pretty glitchy and Connor flat out sucked. They have a chance to really play up the main character in this one so I hope they take advantage of it

I have them lying all around here but I've never played one.
I'm going to try them out when the free AC2 comes out and then play the rest in order if I like it. I believe I have all of them except 1 and 2. I always heard one had some serious flaws but was good and AC2 was better.

I personally liked the first when it came out so much because it was super different at the time... a real stand out.
Now with games like Watchdogs around the corner... it's not as "fresh".
