| I'm a little frustrated that they do not support their own wireless head set at launch. They must be waiting for everyone to go out and buy new before the patch. | |

Last night, we finally partied up on the PS4 and spent 10 mins trying to get Kamea's headset working and he goes, "Uh was I supposed to update the firmware?" lol

| This may be a little belated, but I picked up a pair of turtle beach PX4's when I got my PS4 they went for around £150 (pounds UK) and they have been great, when I first got them it said I needed to use a cord from the headphones to the PS4's controller to enable voice chat, but after a few days I realised that the cord was not needed and indeed they where fully wireless, the only fault that I can find in them is that the earcups could do with a little more padding (or maybe I have strange ears!!!) Ohh one more thing, I cannot seem to find a mute button for the Mic (or am I missing something???) I would rate them abt 8-8.5 out of 10 | |

| There are four buttons on the right ear piece. The left two are voice volume +/-. The right two are Bluetooth and Mute. The mute is on the bottom. | |

Ohh one more thing, I cannot seem to find a mute button for the Mic (or am I missing something???) I would rate them abt 8-8.5 out of 10 Go to TB's site and go to the parts section. You can order different ear pads. There are a few basic sizes and even then you can mix and match "most". I have Tango pads on my PXs and DX11s. They're the "leather" memory foam ones. The other thing you can do to increase the "depth" of the cup of the phone is to get some foam of desired thickness and measure the diameter of the "ring" of the headphone pad.... take that foam and cut donuts or rings that match the size and shape (a little bigger is best) of that set... take the foam ring and insert it inside the cup under the ring of padding to add height to the cup. I do this with most headphones to best fit. You also do very small mods to most any headphone to tailor the sound signature. Want more bass? Add more depth and cover up any external air holes. Loads of methods. Head over to www.headfi.com and youll find LOADS of information. Here is a great gaming headset / headsets used for gaming thread to get you started. http://www.head-fi.org/t/534479/mad-lust-envys-headphone-gaming-guide-updated-12-27-2013-mrspeakers-alpha-dog-added

| Walldoggy, That mute button only seems to work for the blue-tooth, when you turn the phones on they search for blue tooth mobile phones for a few minutes then stop after that the mute button does nothing, and I know its not just my pair either, the same thing happen on my friends pair, I have been to there web site and downloaded their PDF manual and it explains it in that, so far I have found no way of muting them (other than unplugging the actual Mic from the phones) its crazy!!! | |

| Ok, so I looked into this and it looks like you are right, the mute button is for Bluetooth only. So it works on the PS3 (which is where I still play mostly). However, on the PS4, since it's not using Bluetooth and is using the chat cable, the mute button doesn't work.
The easiest solution is to just pull the chat cable out of the PS4 controller when you want to mute. You can still hear everything - game, game chat, party chat - but they can't hear you. At least until they get Bluetooth up and running on the PS4.

| May be a little late to the party on this one but what about something like IPhone ear buds with the Mic? Just plug it in, change the sound settings and everything seems to work. Not the highest quality or 7.1 surround, but it's better than the tv speakers. | |
