| We picked up a set of wired Turtle Beach x12 on sale last week for $37 on Amazon for our son for Christmas. I think they are regularly priced around $55. | |

| If you're playing BO2 I sure wouldn't spend any real money on them as the sound in this game is horrible...can't hear anyone coming up behind you.
If you just want the mic, I'd stick w/ the cheapest xbox mic you can find.
Just my $0.02 | |

| I'm rolling with the Triton ax720's and love em - a bit older but sound awesome - I think you can find a pre-owned pair around 80ish | |

| Although you couldn't hear an elephant running in BO2. They did made Other noises much more noticeable. Suppressed weapons are much louder, reloading is louder and now enemies make call out That I can hear clear. If money was No object I would go with Astro A40 or A50 since it is i bought TB PX5's and I Love them!! | |

| I also have the TB PX5's - and while I like them, I used to really use footsteps sounds to my advantage. I flank a lot with a silenced weapon...in BO2 having a good headset doesn't help NEARLY as much as previous games.
I hope they get it fixed. Problem is David Vonderhaar doesn't like 'sound-whoring' and does everything in his power to eliminate it.
I disagree with him, why shouldn't I have advantage if I'm using all of my available senses against some douche who's blasting Justin Bieber in the background? Makes no sense. | |

| Sent you the email that bestbuy.com is offering Turtle Beach BO2 Ear Force Kilo headset for $55 ($25 off). I think that's probably a great deal for a quality headset. The Biebs will sound great over it I'm sure! |

| I got a pair of Turtle beach x12 a while back and they are fantastic. They've been getting knocked around pretty hard, and my 3 year old daughter keeps trying to steal them, but they've held up wonderfully so far. More importantly than all that, though, is the fact that they came with a sticker. That was my main reason for buying them. I love stickers.
