I use to back with Counter Strike, Day of Defeat, etc. We competed and the whole nine yards.

Built my own gaming computers, over-clocked with cold air pumped into the case, etc.

Have not gone back since buying a PS3.

It is cheaper to buy a PS3 and upkeep it rather than a gaming PC.

Played Counter-Strike from 1.3 to 1.6, never tried Source, before that had a lot of fun DukeMatches on Duke Nukem 3D with some of my friends (nothing more satisfying than calling his dad's separate phone line for the office and hearing the modems connect successfully), and before that played Doom, Wolfenstein, etc.

It is cheaper to buy xbox or ps3 but they don't look as good on video card side!
