True. But its a reminder that you don't need to be RIGHT next to a CP to open/capture it. And you can use that to your advantage.

Nice. I've survived them before with blast shield and capping them at a corner. As soon as the timer gets to the end you need to back away ASAP. I figure if I'm not on a killstreak and no one else is around me I may as well gamble for that AC130.

Well, I'm rarely on anything other than Support, so it doesn't affect my KS if I die. However, it may have been a game a bit later that I tried to do capture another crate and didn't realize other people were capping the flag and ended up triple deathing myself and my own teammates. Oops. SORRY GUYS!

Lesson learned: wait until AFTER you cap a flag to gamble on the enemy crate on a flag. lol

I have put on a ballistic vest and survived one, but I wouldn't say it would happen all of the time.
