Blops2 Preorder Info

I just pre-ordered today and was told by the guys a Game Stop that I have to register my order code by the 28th of May or I will miss the first DLC drop. He said if I missed the 28th (which i'm not) I will only get 3 drops. If I were to miss the next date I'd only get 2 drops and so on... I'm not positive of the truth behind this but figured I would drop a line and give a heads up.

That just doesn't seem logical to me. You buy the game so you should have access to all map packs. It must be a ploy for the company to really jump up it's sales.

Ya that sounds kinda suspect. Now you have to pre order a game 6 months before it is released to get DLC drops (which haven't even been made). What next a 5 yr subscription to elite so we don't miss out on MW6 DLC ?

They are not DLC drops they are perks for pre-ordering. Like right now if you order soon you get a poster AND a prestige token for MW3 and the next perk is coming out in the end of June the 3rd is the end of September and the last is in October. This as far as the information that is released is that they are giving you more stuff the sooner you order the game.

Yeah I've been able to research it since I've posted the info... He blindsided me and my boy with that bullshit so we went ahead and got it. I'm going back this morning to shove it down his throat and get my money back. Fuckin little nerd.

It wouldn't surprise me if they pulled something like this. Without having a hardened edition or elite to pull in more money. But i'll take my money somewhere else. Don't fuckin lie to me!

You can preorder elite .I preordered both from gamestop when preorders started . But if your store is going to mislead I would find another outlet to do business with .

alot of talk about how elite is going free anyone know if ordering elite make scents?

The guy at GameStop told me yesterday that ELite is free but you have to pay for a season pass to the get the maps at a discounted price.

I think you save about $15 if you buy the pass and get all the maps.

Not sure its worth it, but I did it anyway because I hate paying per map. Its just easier to log on and download the new drop and be on my way.

yes sir, but i think ill keep my money in my pocket unless i need a season pass to do clan stuff, Because in black ops they had a zombie only map pack..i dont play zombies

I agree invisible. That was the only map pack I didn't buy in BLOPS.
