x30x PS3 Clan Battle Group

So since we have lost a lot of guys I am opening this group back up for recruitment. We have 15 now and would like to get up to about 20. Any new 30 members are welcome to join. We have practice on Friday's at 10pm EST, Monday Night Matches vs the 55's at 9pm EST, and Tuesday Night Matches vs the 4gc's at 10pm EST. U do not have to commit to everything u play when u can. However, those that attend practice are given preference over thos who do not. If I am unavailable then Ninjesmurf is my back up from Practice and Games. We play 6v6 in all matches but everyone that is available is encouraged to attend and the can play public matches with the extras from the 55's or 4gcs depending on the night. This is to build a friendship between the clans. But don't get me wrong in the competitive 6v6 matches we are playing to win. Period. Ok guys, here is my question. I got a request to join the group from 3 people that were not already on it. One I can vouche for, one was an xboxer only, and the other has no posts and just joined the clan a weeks ago. So my question is, should there be some sort of requirement as far as how active someone is before we add them to the user group? I already added tis person without thinking about it. But now it has me wondering. I have never played with this person and they have no forum posts. I think I am going to pull them til I hear a general concensus on the matter from u guys.

I also added Justyourhero, he bailed us out last week and has already signed up for next week and I am sure most if not all of us has played with him quite a bit.

I would like to get in the mix if I can...I'm pretty active!

I do believe though this one is gonna require some involvement on the forum staying up to date on our battle discussions and member input .if someone can't devote time to our strategy thread and other related topics and just expect to come in on Tuesday and play there not really gonna know what's up ,or we're gonna spend time before a practice or battle explaining our in and outs to them.

I have gotten alot of responses by PM and everybody is pretty much saying the same thing. You need to be involved in practice and posting on the forums, ie strategies thread especially to be considered when it comes match time. And I am ok with that. So I say first step is practice. Like I said before, U show up for practice u move to the top of the list come match time. I don't want to say practice is mandatory because somethimes life is just gonna make it impossible for any one of us to make it at any given time. What if one week only 4 can show? U have to let others have the opertunity to fill those holes so we can field a team. Just understand the ones who make practice and come up with that weeks game plan are going to be the ones that dictate how we play that week's match. So if you didn't make practice u r going to have to get in where u fit in as they say. Also, a lot of guys think we should go back to 6v6. I think we ought to give practicing as a group running 9 for a while before we consider that. We r 30's and we do not give up!!! We fight. The 4gc's and at one point the 55's we losing to us week after week after week. They did not give up. They adapted. And so should we. If we put our best into 9v9 or whatever comes our way we can conquer it. It may not be easy. But it can and it will be done. Most everybody that has shown interest has played in these things at some point. Even Baldeagle played in a couple a while back, b4 most of u came into the fold. Thats where the practice thing comes in. U practice u play. If we have spots left over after that then its first come first serve. If we have more people show up for practice then 9 then we can rotate and/or I will find us more competition. We can break into teams, these 9 play 55's on Monday, these 9 Play 4gc's on Tuesday. Hell I have always thought it is not to our advantage to play the 4gc's and the 4gc's only over and over. Cause any team that is worth their salt will eventually firgure out a way to beat us if they play us enough. That old saying every dog has its day. Not to mention if we play only one team over and over we will get stagnant and bored. Rant over.

That said, I will probably max the group out at 25. That will give us plenty to field 2 teams a week when we are ready. If I or Vegas find more competetion than the 55's and 4gc's then we care rotate those teams thru our Monday and Tuesday night games. As people become less active they can be replace by new interested parties after they come to a few practices. But we can decide when to do that as a group.

Can I get on the list? Or is this for people with spectacular talent?

Question...I am about to prestige again and figure I should unlock something that I am going to need or make the best use of for this kind of competition. I have already unlocked tac insert. What do you guys suggest next? I have blind eye and assassin already also since those are favorites of mine.

I'm thinking baby monitor...thoughts? I'd like to be equipped even at level 13 if I can.

I unlocked the baby monitor as my 1st unlock. I have not regreted it once.

@bcbaldeagle76- Competetions are done in private lobbies. In private lobbies everything is unlocked. So thats not a problem. The only thing that may cause u issues is that things u use in competetion u may not have access to in practice if we go out into a public lobby.

Yeah that take the thermal back off my L86 ,been using the msr instead of the lmg this go around .

Ahhh...good point. I did not think of that...thank you. Doesn't matter what I unlock for public play. Duh. I don't play much in private lobbies.

So i'm good to go then!

Just remember when you prestige you have to setup your privet lobby classes again, they get wiped.

I'd like to join the battle group but I work afternoons and my days off are Sun, Mon, Tues. Who needs practice anyway right. Anyway, hope this works.

Practice is not mandatory, but it gets u at the top of the list as to who plays. If we do not have enough then u will be used off the bench as a sub. I added you to the list.
