MW3 info on golden guns

80 levels X 15 Prestiges. No thanks! One of the things that bothered me with MW2 was the grind of leveling from 50 - 70. Black Ops did a good job of that because as long as you played fairly often you'd make your way through a prestige. I have no problem with more prestiges as it just always feels you are earning something that way, but it seems like going that high level wise will take a ton more time.

Claymore unlocked at level 53......WTF is this all about? Was MW2 this way? One thing I really like about Black Ops is I can buy whatever I want for equipment and perks right from the get go as long as I had $$$$.......

There are only going to be 10 prestiges from what I've seen. 80 levels does seem a bit much!!

But at least everyone won't be maxed out before summer time returns.

I will think of it like trying to get to lvl 800. Myabe it will be easier for my brain to wrap around.

I've never bothered prestige-ing I won't bother in MW3 either

Also looks like some of the death streaks (last stand for example) are unlocked at later levels as well. Good to see.

Some where I remember reading a post about purchasing prestige. I think that you can get Double xp for the next prestige which means you will be able to go up in levels twice as fast. That should at least make it go by quicker. I hope this is true. The thought of 80 levels is just crazy. I also hope you don't unlock any great guns at the late levels. That is one thing that has bothered me on BOs. I was a big fan of the commando when I was in the early stages of the idea I will remain a 5star (MARSH), but haven't really bothered to create too many classes with it, since I have grown used to using guns like the MP5K, Famas, Enfield, and AUG.

I like the grind of leveling anyways. Forces me to use different guns and perks that way. I'll do it just for the sake of doing it. If I don't I'll get stuck running the exact same set up constantly.

Hey Steelers I could be wrong but I think in the MW games you can use any gun from the start but you have to earn attachments by killing x amount of people and so on....

Can anybody C/D if pointstreaks are stackable this time?

Weapons and equipment are unlocked as you level up. Then as you gain XP with a weapon you will unlock attachments.
Perks will unlock as you level up too.

Assault pointstreaks are going to stack and they reset when you die.
Support pointstreaks are non stacking, but only reset after you reach your highest one. Deaths will not reset your progress on support streaks.
Specialist pointstreaks will reset upon death. And only last as long as your alive.

Hey Snowr1der is it true that if you don't die after you get say 3,4,5 pointstreaks and you get up to 10 kills without dying that you get your streaks again.......hmmm I've confused myself there....ok if you go 10-0 you basically have 2 sets of pointstreaks to use, unlike blops where you have to die before you get more???.....and 1 more thing can you use whatever pointstreak you wish first, unlike blops where you could have a uav and napalm but you can't use the uav to see the enemies before you burn them?....thanks

I have not seen this clarified, but I am assuming so.........
