Black Ops 2 Q&A

Got to catch it for a couple mins before I went for my run looks really good and fluid, but like you say will see how it is with 1 mil people online those 1st couple days

Hi smg wise the 2 thst will float your boat will be the msmc and the skorpion both are beasts. Skorpion has a really high rate of fire and kinda reminds me of the mp7 from mw3 its the one i love at the moment. Im using both with the old grip attachment.
Assult rifles wise if your into burst fire the m8a1 is a super beast its like the g11 from black ops 1, but this time you can add what ever attachments
you want. I also think the scar will be a "go to" weapon for alot of people in that class, but i need to investigate more on that.
Snipers, the dsr-50 is the pure one hit kill bolt action monster in this catagory.
OP wise well you can run a class like this:-
Skorpion with silencer and grip
Cold blooded, Ghost, Scavenger and Dead silence
No secondary
So you can basically be invisible and have unlimited bullets
Hope this helps, i need to play more to try other stuff out.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of recoil on any gun I have used so far. The ones that do have recoil seem to just go straight up so basically aim for the chest and your good.

I have played a few rounds with the skorpion and it seems a bit difficult to control due to the high firerate which will just be a learning curve. It seems to be one of the guns with quite a bit of recoil.

Did you try it with the grip? im really falling in love. im going off the scar tonight for the recoil reason at distance tonight. Quite like the new tar gun now instead. I cant wait for some real world testing tho. But i dont take my flashed console online, so its going to be next week before i can get a real feel.

Perhaps a slightly odd question, but is there any signs of XBox SmartGlass support in the options?

I know that SmartGlass is a live feature, so it probably isn't working yet, but I'm curious if there is any sign of it...

I have not seen any but the multiplayer menu is not accessible yet. So wont know for sure until the servers go up. I would really doubt it though.

Fair enough... Still kind of sucks, though...

I find it kind of odd (and a bit of a snub) that the Wii U will end up having an actual tactical advantage through a more enhanced version of the game, over the versions released on the long-standing "CoD consoles"...

It's already been announced that the Wii U version will allow players to use the 'tablet screen' for a permanent mini map and the ability to call in map-based scorestreaks using the tablet screen...

SmartGlass is so similar to the Wii U tablet screen, and if Treyarch already built the code to have maps run remotely, it should be a relatively easy port on SmartGlass, I would think... Maybe we'll get it in a patch...

I'll take my 73" tv over a WiiU tablet any day

I think it is pretty much the same as what you get for xp now. I will try and pay attention to it today. I know kills are 50 - 100 depending on gamemode. Caps are 150. Confirms 100.

LOL! They work together... It's not one over the other (unless you're "split screening" the new way)... it's an extra (touch) screen for mini-map, etc...

In Domination, the value of a cap depends on whether you cap a neutral or enemy flag. Enemy flags are worth significantly more.

Just what I remember seeing from Missiler's footage...

Domination:
Kill - 50pt
Kill Defender/Attacker - 125pt
Neutral flag capture - 75pt (or 100pt)?
Enemy flag capture - 150pt

Kill Confirmed:
Kill - 50pt
Confirm your own kill - 100pt
Confirm a team-mate kill - 50pt
Deny a kill - 25pt

Going slightly off topic, but I think Nintendo is really changing their position in the market, moving to try and re-capture the "Hardcore Gamer" group... They've relaxed their content restrictions (M-rated titles, and the such) and significantly upped the power of their hardware (in fact, Nintendo won't even release what the system specs are, but a UbiSoft developer was quoted as saying the Wii U was "surpisingly powerful" when comparing them to the X360 and PS3... Source)

All I really want is the full-map mini-map on a separate screen I can always glance at, which the Wii U version will be able to do out-of-the-box on the tablet screen, so Treyarch has already built the code to the engine...

If you can plant the riot shield, how far away from it can you get? Can I get a couple of other people running riot shield and build a fort around a flag? Can I run riot shield with 2 shock charges a get a guardian streak then just lock off a section of the map? You can see that I am planning on pissing off a lot of people

also add in that. claymores are refillable with scavenger and u can cover all flanks as well.

Its also worth noting that (in TDM anyway not sure about other modes) killstreaks only give 25 points per kill, if you have a uav up and someone on your team gets a kill you get a 10 point assist. Oh and also destroying equipment like claymores, trophy systems ect bags you 50 points
