| I'm seeing a lot of these going around. This stuff worked in COD4 because there were only 4 or 5 call outs on a map. With the current maps being so intricate, and there being so many maps, I would be shocked if anyone can remember all of them. The worst part about it is that more than one person has to memorize 20-30 call outs per map otherwise it serves no purpose.
North, south, east, and west would be a much more efficient method for call outs in my opinion. |

| I appreciate you posting it mainly so I don't have to do them myself anymore Callouts aren't a requirement, they are here to use for anyone that wants them. There are a lot of locations and a lot of callouts for each maps, but you will come to find out that only a handful will be used because each map will have it's usual hot spots. More might be used in this game because there are a ton more spots for players to glitch/post up on. North, south, east and west could work too except I have no idea what direction I am pointing and where players are relative to me without slowing down and looking at the compass under the minimap. That isn't efficient for me personally. Whatever works for you guys, feel free to use it. The main thing is to just try and communicate as much as you can. Without it we are just a group of randoms running together. Happy hunting ladies and gents | |

| That's cool, if its easier to differentiate between 20 call outs as opposed to learning what direction you're facing (the compass is always the same) you're the man. I just hope you're never lost in the woods or traveling on the interstate without a map. |

| Yeah, I do find it a little easier to hear "guy in laundry" as opposed to "guy in room southeast of B". Luckily I don't have to worry about being lost in the woods because I don't go in them and if I am lost on the interstate without a map I will just pull over and the guy at the gas station will just tell me to go down yonder and take a right at the rusted truck then a left at the yellow bank. | |

| As an avid outdoors man i know that using a compass is essential but in this situation i agree that hearing specifically where a guy is is alot easier | |

| I agree too, it is much easier to use the call outs IMO, and after some hours of playing they start to come naturally | |

| I have a hard time with callouts. by the time i remember what a place is called the usefulness of me calling it out has passed. so i end up just saying the first thing that comes to mind. which is normally a reference to the domination flag points for the map |

| I googled black ops 2 map call outs, and whaddyaknow?! This over30 post is 5th from the top! Serves me right, I should have looked here first! I agree with dmiles, any call out is better than none. But like everyone else; ain’t no way I can remember callouts on 18+ maps. To try and shoehorn these in my brain I’ll print these out and glance at the map callouts while the map is loading. | |

| Apparently I missed putting in my two cents here... While there are a lot of different callouts, I actually found the easiest way to get them "locked & loaded" into my head to was to run a Private match by myself with the callout maps in hand, walk around the map to each major callout point and LOOK AROUND at the game world in that area. Once you've taken your "quiet stroll" through the map and familiarized yourself, a lot of the callouts just make sense, and you'll remember them easier. (In fact, my biggest "Doh!" moment was when I finally figured out why it's called "Flares" on Aftermath...) | |

| I dont think you have to remember every call out exatly as written, important power poiints and famous camping sights are the biggies. Most of the time I know who is close to me and if I die I might say Migs to your right. and usually I will hear got em after that, or if its missler got em coach. I have never studied call outs but I know the important ones as i think most people do. For example on slums. everyone knows blue, memorial, fountain, graveyard, etc.. for the most part I call out what I see and it usually works | |

| I prefer callouts.
They get much easier as you play the maps more.
It's also much easier if you play with ppl that you're familiar with...then you just know what they mean, even if it's not the 'correct' name of the callout.

| the important thing to remember here is call out guys you see - not just guys you lost a gun fight to
if you're on raid and running from a to b and catch a glimpse of a guy in kitchen call it out
essentially everyone could be each other's uav with a good call out

| The guys I play with a lot use call outs a lot. Obviously not even close to the ones in the video. The best one is on Standoff, the video calls it Kebab we like to call it The Chinese Ice cream Shop. This name came from a lot of debates over what this place was so now we know we were all wrong. And another I keep callin the downed turbine a damn plane. Stupid but everyone knows what I'm talkin about. | |

| Map callouts are the way to go 100%. Just one accurate callout can win the game for your side. | |

| Most of the guys i play with (you asshats know who you are haha) are damn good with the verbal communication.
Like BlackDeath mentioned... don't just call out when you die. Describe the enemy movement... their current spawn location... map coverage (very important one... check your mini map for teammate positions) and even enemy scorestreaks that are approaching.
Nothing is worse than getting slammed by a hellstorm because you have no time to look at the minimap as you're in a big firefight! You teammates should have said "look up, hellstorm" or "hellstorm center map, everyone move!".
Also, (as proven by some entire team LMG Nuketown shenanigans) it can be EXTREMELY helpful to call out reloads when your team is holding down A and B flags. Call it out so a buddy can come cover your ass for a minute.
