| Hey guys, I'm new to actually having teammates to communicate with so I'm behind on the call out lingo. Can someone post a guide? They're generally easy to understand when I hear them, but it would help me from saying unhelpful things like "there are 2 in the little room next to tall thing!" For instance, I think I heard someone mention grandmas house on Standoff and i was clueless. | |

| Just about every map on all CODs has a grandmas house....lol Below is a link that has call outs but i wouldn't try to learn everything, and some people use different call out the sniper spots and spots around objectives are the most important. http://2ezclan.net/black-ops-2-map-call-outs/ | |

| http://unofficialcallofduty.com/black-ops-2-bo2-map-callouts-mlg-gb/Here is where I get my base for callouts. The names vary for the same building though. For example, you refer to Grandma's House on Standoff, which is Kitchen on this site, but I call it Blue. Standoff has five buildings on it and all five have a color scheme in or on them, so I base it on colors. Grandmas House/Kitchen/A Building = Blue Store/Shop/C Building = Red Warehouse/Mechanic = Green Middle House/Wood = Brown Kebab/Ice Cream/Butcher = Yellow Most of us use about the same callout strategy, but it helps to know a couple of the aliases.

| Good example both of those links on hijacked says seating for what we call cabana. I have never heard that called anything but cabana. I also never heard the 2 back walkways refered to as departures and arrivals on express. | |

| One half of Express is the arrival side of the train station and the other half is the departure side. They are mirrors of each other. One side has a red color scheme and one has a blue. A Dom side is Blue/Departures and C Dom side is Red/Arrivals. Definitely the potential for some easy and accurate callouts. | |

| The MLG teams put a lot of thought into the callouts.
Short and precise are key because callouts must be fast and understandable.
Flares is a lot better than "the path by the bus" for instance. Fast to say and accurate description.
"Two guys in flares"
or
"Two guys on that path by the bus that goes to B"
I liked "Kabob" on standoff. Never heard that one before. I use "Deli" or "Meat Market." I"m going to use Kabob now though ha ha. |

| Thanks for the responses. Some of these make a ton of sense, but some are definitely a little goofy. Seating? That's always been cabana to me, too. I was playing some Dom last night with some of the 30s and the color system was working pretty well, too. | |

| Great info. I've been confused about some of the callouts myself. | |

| FWIW, I learned it as Seating. lol
One thing is to listen to people's call outs and ask questions. If someone calls something out and you aren't sure what it is, ask. I'm still learning where some things are, or what people like to call certain areas.
Then, when you make your own call outs, try your best to be clear and concise. If you get it wrong, it's ok, not the end of the world. Saying something like "Two guys on that path by the bus that goes to B" is a lot better than "......................... (silence)"

| Call outs. My call outs usually start out with MOTHER F*CKER followed by he's in the GD Cabana. My favorite is when you call them out and I C4 them and scream "SURPRISE B!TCH!...... got'em" | |

| I always try to do my best on the call outs and there are tones of them.i find out that if you run with a team all the time.if you say a place your team mates will know what you mean.its a time thing you learn how others play.... |

| Callouts are a huge part of clan ops and challenges. Before running with a clan, I had no time to look around without being killed. Turbine, for the longest time I heard folks calling out "in the plane or on top of the plane" what? I could see a turbine, but no plane. Then it clicked, plane = turbine laying in the middle of the map, where "B" is. There is a prop, but in turbine, like a bunch of other maps, there are numbers on the towers, so tower 3 (aka control).
Downhill A Dom, but I just call it snowman.
Do a custom game and just wander around by yourself. You will be amazed what you find. Butterflies, books (Jungle Book, Frankenstein), fridge open in downhill no wonder its cold. As mentioned, red/blue bridge in Express.
Hardpoint the sequence and anchors is a whole other post. LOL
