Making the switch from PS3 Roster 2 to Roster 1?

I'm having issues with Elite. It keeps coming up as I'm not in a clan. Once I get that straightened out, I'll start putting you guys on the roster.

No more x30 for me.. wah lol

I get to be cool and rock the o30c!!

How do I make that switch, though?

I'm heading to work now... I'm pretty sure it's working again... When I get home tonight around 9:30 est I'll add whoever else has applied today...

I just applied to Roster 1 and when it got approved it automatically removed me from 2

I don't want to leave roster 3, which was renamed to roster 2, which I have been on since I joined this clan. I'll be the placeholder.

Don't know if anyone else had a prob, but it was a bit of runaround on the Elite site (surprise!). First it would not recognize that I had left Roster 2...then it would only display hoser clans that were excepting apps.

Best way I could find was doing an Elite Player search for "JAGERpatrol" then clicking on the "[o30c]" next to his name which opened the Roster 1 clan site. Ended up applying there.

As a former Roster 3 then Roster 2 I know how ya' feel birddotcom.

Being new to the site, I was wondering what/why the difference was between the rosters?

When I was searching for Over 30 clan tags in Elite, it was hit and miss, mostly miss. As a n00b, I have my mandatory posts to do, but then does a particular roster leader send the Elite invite? Provided the person is a keeper.

Also, I have seen a bunch of different clan tags, in signatures and profiles (e.g. X30, O30C, 030c, x30x, etc.), what is the clan tag or is there a bunch of them, depending on the roster?

There are official Elite clan tags that will make your tag in game gold (at least it does for PS3). However, because a lot of times, randoms back out against obvious full parties like that, we generally run random clan tags. Although, some people will always use the actual clan clan tag.

Clan tag is all depending on the roster or random, alot of us on the PS side don't always run it to help get full lobbies faster. Usually you end up on whatever roster has room at the time you join, Roster 1 generally stays full-ish.

Thanks, that makes sense running random tags. In my previous clan we were 'forbidden' to use random tags. LOL

There were times we had difficulty getting a full lobby or had to wait ages, which was a pain, especially when you only have 3 hours of Clan Ops to rack em and stack em.

I guess as long as you are associated with a clan in Elite, is all that counts so kills, captures, etc. count.

I was wondering why I haven't seen a whole lot of 30 clan tags, but honestly I wasn't looking for them prior to joining 30.

When you get in roster one I suggest you run the o30c clan tag for a time so people see you more easy but up to you bull shit is not what this clan is about ! ptfo and have fun most important !

Everyone pretty much already summed it up. Full party with matching clan tags never goes over well in public lobbies... I don't even run a tag most of the time.

Most of us will put a 30 or x30x or o30x or whatever in the emblem. And requiring you to run the clan tag? *sheesh* lol It's a bit more casual here... haha

Thank goodness for that, yes it was lame, PO factor was pretty high as you could be "written up". I won't even get into the "salute" requirement.LOL

Random tags can make for some funny lobby conversation. The only requirement is that you have fun and make some new friends. I will always rock my clan tag when playing because I want to not because I have to I am proud to be a 30 and be part of a huge extended family. Welcome Jman.

I want to rock the golden o30c, can I get an invite to the clan? I left roster 2 thinking I can apply to roster 1. Turns out roster one won't accept applications.
