Payday 2 released today!

Payday 2 drops today... anyone picking it up? It's available for download for $39 i believe.

I'll most likely be getting it if some of you guys are... this is one game you HAVE to play together as a smart, cohesive group.

I am sort of disappointed with some of the minor gripes reviewers are mentioning... but, we'll see.

It's not CoD user friendly.

Haha can you imagine a group of 4 random COD players who get matched up in Payday 2 online!? Christ, they'd fail the mission or all be killed within the first minute... they would have absolutely NO chance haha!

This would be amazing fun with a group of 30s who want to take the time before each game and plan shit out... equip specific people for specific roles... lock down a strategy and then case the objective and execute it. But playing with randoms... no way.

I have had it and even livestreamed it last week. It is ok but not great by any means.

Sounds like a cool game if you have three friends who can all play at the same time, for the same length of time, and don't have the need to bail at any moment for family(kids) stuff that happens without notice. In other words...if I was still in college, wasn't married, and didn't have kids.

It would end up about like our BO2 league teams, I currently have about 10 different teams made up of different combinations people, and rarely can we get the same 4 on at the same time for any length of time.

Cool idea, but would probably end up about as workable as we found the BO2 3 vs. 3 tournament to be.

I'll wait for Splinter Cell next week!! Already have it on pre-order, so I hope to see more of us get that game, and am hoping that the spies vs. mercs will be fun.

Finally got this game today. It has been completely sold out in Tucson all week. It is a lot of fun on co-op.
