Ok... i have been pretty open about my "meh" for Titanfall. I mean i've thought it looked very pretty and that it seemed to be a combination of say Halo, Warhawk and COD... but that first E3 vid left me kind of disappointed. Not anymore...

After seeing the new gameplay vid from gamescom and this IGN first hands-on impressions from 3 journalists that i really relate to (game selection preference wise etc.)... well it's sounding pretty badass! Had NO idea of the weapon types (each person has a Titan specific take down weapon... awesome) and sweet epilogue gameplay (after a match loosing team must make a retreating run to escape chopper things while the winning team trys to slaughter them for big XP)... i'm honestly jealous of you future Xbox One owners lol... for this game only  

another... shit... keeps getting more and more interesting.  Maybe if i stop following it it will go away?

Don't worry Gun, Titanfall is only Xbox exclusive for now and you can always play on PC.

Yeah i mean i guess it's pretty much been confirmed by Emsile, Zampella and West that its a timed exclusive... but for how long... we don't know... and shit could change... but i still kinda want to play lol. Ill try it out on 360 first i guess.

It does look like an interesting game and I'm interested to see how it all plays out over time. When you first mentioned the evacuation part of it I thought that it was an interesting add-on, something different, but then I immediately thought about how everyone on the team that has to evac would be dash-boarding (losing teams already do this without the evac sequence in FPS.)

It seems, though, that the evacuation ending occurs only in the multiplayer-campaign mode and the player probably can't get to the next stage without successfully evacuating after a loss. Unless there are real penalties for dash-boarding you will still probably have a lot of people who would rather replay a level than take a permanent loss and have to run around to escape, but it's not in the "normal" multiplayer game.

That's funny you mentioned that! I was thinking the same thing!!!! They have to have some sort of penalization system in place like the ones in Halo 4 or BO2. Or maybe b/c titanfall uses bots/AI in multiplayer they can seamlessly add bots when people drop? That kind of seems like the future of multiplayer gaming... if people drop and the game doesn't have time or cant find a new person to join they fill the open positions with bots. Very cool.

If i remember right I thought i heard something about them recording your play style just like with kinect sports 2 and forza 5 and you are actually a bot as well. This would be powered by the microsoft cloud.

That makes a lot of sense; I thought that I felt a little glitchy this morning; I must have booted up too quickly. I think that I might need a firmware upgrade too!

If I choose the PS4 do I get to speak in Japanese subtitles and be powered by Gaikai?
