Awesome! I've got a VDub as well! 2012 Jetta TDI 6Spd Manual. Great car and I average 48Mpg out of it. Definitely will be buying another when the time comes. I just wish they'd release the truck Amarok with TDI in the USA.... I would be all over that thing! I'm sure it gets at least double the MPG as my F150! Doesn't look too bad either.

Yeah They have those trucks down in Brazil where my wife is from. Everytime I see pix of them on her moms farm I get so jealous that they never brought them up here.

| My baby and the bike(05 GSX-R) After the Jetta frond end swap (03 VW GTI 1.8T) Comparison of ride height between mine(orange) and a stock Jetta(black) I'll try to either find some photos or take a couple new ones of the VW and the girlfriends Saturn. Before you make fun of her for having a Saturn, please let me post a couple pictures.... 2004 Saturn Ion Level 3 Yes, you read that correctly.... Turbocharged. | |

| My buddy had an Ion Redline that was upgraded n it was fun little car. Also my stepdad has a regular ion, thing is like a little go kart with touchy steering n brakes, but overall a good little car for DD.
I do like the Wheels on the Prius and the old GSXR, But d@mn it the Tractor rims are definitely pushing it a little lol

| Old school muscle - I have a '69 Mustang that my dad originally bought for me when I was a sophomore in highschool. $600 and it ran and drove believe it or not. He and I restored the car as my graduation present. We did a front disc conversion and I built the first engine myself which didn't last long due to a faulty lifter. It's now got a fully forged and blueprinted 302 w/dart heads, C4 trans with 3500 stall, and Ford 9" with a limited slip. On the rollers that lil 302 puts around 375HP to the wheels. Its never fast enough. Future plans - Martz Chassis front subframe - this will allow me to do several things. Shock tower delete, front coilovers, 2" drop spindles, power rack n pinion. The shock tower delete will make it easier to add a hydro assist power brakes (yes the car was orig equipped with manual steering and manual DRUM brakes lol). I also have a custom gauge cluster I need to install that has all new Phantom gauges. I also have a YJ / Jeep Wrangler in the works. It'll have a spring over lift sitting on dana 60's front/rear. I plan on putting a junk yard LQ9 (vortec 6L from the Escalade) in there probably with an accompanying 4L65e trans. Here is the stang. btw Eric you need to join the appropriate usergroups here to change your name from yellow to green. | |
