First game with Clan

Played my first game with the clan today. Fun, fun. Can someone enlighten me on the gold clan tags the other 5 players I was playing with had?

Welcome to the x30x!!!!If you are part of Roster 1 on PS3 and have received an invite and been able to join the clan it will be available to you in your callsign/emblem options. I don't believe roster #2 clan has leveled up enough to unlock this. I am not sure about the Xbox thingy side either. Also found out that you will still sport gold clan tag prior to unlocking clan tags after prestiging. Cool!

I'm learning all this clan stuff as we speak. I'm on MW3 roster #3. How to I join the clan/roster via the console?

Yep, got a game with ya. Tried to add u as a friend but ur list is full. Still meed some help on the whole clan/group/gold tag thingy.

The gold color comes from the Elite clan reaching a certain level to unlock. The first roster had it unlocked in less than 50 members, so it is easy to attain. I believe you will be on the second roster that is currently receiving invites. Once you receive an invite from the Elite clan page and accept it you will be able to select the clan tag and clan titles in game.

I must be stupid but where do I find my invite, Elite on console?

Log into Elite via a PC with a browser other than xplorer. On your Elite career page there will be a invites section. You can find it there.
Some people are having problems accepting the invites when using IE. I use chrome and others have had success with firefox.

I managed to get through the entire process on the first try with IE, so it might be fix't.

please, please, please, tell me you are an oklahoma state fan but highly unlikely being your name is "sooner" but you know im just razzing you a little and being the longhorns have sucked it up this year i dont really have a lot of room to talk.

Sorry, Sooner fan here. But I will say I root for the Cowboys any time they AREN'T playing the Sooners.

Well then I will accept that and being I'm from texas and am a chicago bears fan I get some grief for rooting against our cowboys whenever they play each other but otherwise I am a closet dallas cowboys fan. Sssshhhh dontt ell anybody LoL

I guess that's alright. Not that much into pro football, but if I was rooting for a team it would be the 'boys. BTW, added you as a friend, maybe we can play tonight. Gotta go do the turkey day thing with the parents now.
