New Headset

I'm ready to ditch the wired and go with wireless. Need some suggestions. They need to work with both XBOX and PS3. Here is what I am looking at? Suggestions?

Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930
Ear Force XP500
Ear Force PX5

The PX5 are the only one I have used and they are nice, I don't know much about the logitech ones though. Sometimes there really is not a huge diference between the 150$ one and the 250$. Just depends on how much you want to spend in the end

I am also looking for a good PS3 wireless headset. How is the playstation headset? I hear that the best remote controls are playstation, maybe playstation headsets are good too.

I use the TB PX21 (wired) but the only thing they are good for now is the sound in MW3 (which sucks). The chat function in MW3 (as we all know) sucks so my headset is useless for that now....until IW fixes it....NOT

I use the PS3 headset...I like it a lot...but I will admit I don't have any fram of reference cuz I've only used that and a bluetooth earpiece. The ps headset allows has good directional sound and you can adjust the volume towards game sound or chat...so when I play random games I usually turn the chat sound off... This game sounds great through a nice set of headphones...

I was using TB X11 which are good but recently went to Astro A40s. Both are wired though. I personally will not use anything wireless. Whether its headset, controller, especially network connection.

If you aren't a slave to mic monitoring (hearing your own voice) like me, the PS ones are very nice, and hella cheaper than the PX5s. They are very sturdy as well.

I have the PX5s and have been pleased so far. Once you go wireless there's no going back.
Just be sure to turn off the headset after each use. I thought they turned themselves off once the system was turned off, but they don't. I was eating through AA batteries like mad. Once I figured out the power thing, they have lasted far longer.

read one of the other 27 posts on here about headsets. there is a SHIT TON of input in there..

Yeah, probably should have searched first. Sale of mine fell through so I'm sticking with my TB DPX21.
