Who's going and who's staying?

Shorty from the PS3 UK30 is leaving the clan to persue his new interest in Website building and design. He is starting his own website named EUK30 and asked to be a brother clan to x30x. Althought I'm a little shocked at the moment I am giving my blessing to Shorty and our UK Brothers that will follow him. His site will have an Affiliate Link on this site and we will have a link on his EUK30 site. I DO NOT want to hear anything negitive about Shorty's decision or about the people that choose to follow him. We will maintain a healthy relationship with our UK brothers.

We are about to make the Elite Rosters so I need to know ASAP who is following Shorty and who is staying here.
If you are leaving I WILL NOT delete your account as you are welcome here anytime. But please REMOVE yourself from all of the USERGROUPS that you are in and add yourself to the Friendly Clan Usergroup. Shorty should be getting me a list of the 15 members that has already signed up for his website.

Shorty make me a small banner that will fit in the sidebar on the left side of our forums that I can link to your site.

If all of the PS3 UK Members decide to follow Shorty I will close down the UK30 section and direct future traffic to Shorty's site.

Shorty, I am sad to see you go. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication and I wish you the best with your new brother clan. Its been a real pleasure to make friends with you and the rest of the UK/EU brothers and sisters. I hope I can still occasionally get in on the UK private game madness from time to time. I love those guys and playing with them but to be honest the lag involved with a UK->US game has always made me reluctant to join their games... hope all works out for them on the MW3 front!

I don't think this is a bad scenario. Shorty seems to have a good handle on the UK crew. The time zone/lag issues really didn't allow for all that much co-mingling anyway other than the message boards. As long as they are free to still post here nothing really changes.

Well bummer. Joking on the UK crew was one of my favorite things to do around here. Agreed that their unique spelling and grammar will be missed a great deal. Fran's Vids of the Junkyard hyjinks will be missed as well.

Guys I'm new to then clan and I'm moving over to EUK30 and I do 't see it as the end of the uk x30x but more tge beginning of beautiful friendship. . . Thanks guys for all your help.

Thanks for the fun and laughs and everything. Since I am an Uk regular and mostly play with them I've decided to head to the EU as well. I'll be checking out both forums to keep in touch. I'm very glad I found this clan on the boards and grateful that David took the time to make a home for likewise minded gamers. As Fran said lets not see it as an end but the begin of a friendship which is allready there. Thanks everyone and cu in game.

Now that you mention it, I haven't seen much of the EUK folks spamming the forums with hilarity. That I will miss for sure. I thought it was just the transition from BO to MW3 that caused the lull but it was the lack of UK banter. Shorty and the crew were a big factor in the growth of the clan, wish you all well.

The first 30's I ever played with were the guys from the UK - Shorty and the gang. Benefits of being unemployed at the time meant playing during their prime time due to the time difference.
