| Addresses the following issues.
When you get into the multiplayer portion of Modern Warfare 3, you should be treated to a patch that will set you back only 4 MB in memory. This update didn’t address lag compensation, but you can be rest assured that Infinity Ward is working on improving it. Today’s patch should have fixed the following:
Patch Notes:
Additional improvements to address lag. Fix for Melee Jump. Clan Tag Validation (remove buttons from clan tags). Improve Host Migration logic. Prevent stat Loss. |

| After I patched and played this morning I had a lot of issues with the screen freezing. This was both in the menu itself where the music would play and menus would be working and then I'd get a 1 second pause every 20 seconds or so.
In game, I also encountered that similar screen stuttering that I wouldn't call lag, but where the screen literally stops for a second and then the action goes again. I had that in the past but it's been quite awhile since I've had that.
Not too happy about that if it's back. |

| I don't get it? Can't they ever patch something and not have it lead to other problems that require yet another patch? It's an endless cycle! |

| Fix for melee jump? Yeah, that was a big problem in the game. How about fix melee knife? |

| Exactly FBD, so what, you can't jump and knife in mid air now?! Huge problem that was sgt tube socks, lol, makes sense I guess

| Ever since this game came out atleast 6 or so times a day the screen freezes, but then unfreezes. When I am in the friends list on MW3 the screen pauses for a couple seconds and also When I am going from Main Menu to Multiplayer. Have not played since the patch so hopefully it isn't any worse. |

| U40, yep, the worst is accepting a party invite right when you get to the multiplayer screen! Takes forever, if you don't let everything load for atleast 10 seconds. |

This is exactly what was happening to me this morning. I actually rebooted the PS3 too just in case it was an issue on my end. It was fixed previously maybe by patch 1.04 for me. Maybe this patch fixed you, but now broke me! |

| I thought my PS was acting up but after reading this I see I am not the only one having strange things happen to the screen.
Question; This only happens in MW3 but about once a day their is a terrible noise during gameplay that lasts about 10 seconds. I have to take the headset off during the squeeling.
And no, it is not Savvy on the verge of rage quitting. |

And no, it is not Savvy on the verge of rage quitting. There is another thread about the noise, it's been happening for a while and not recent patch related. I don't get it as often as you but I've had it happen about 5 times now. As far as I'm concerned jsavvy is a recovered rage quitter. He earned his 6 month coin last week. |

| I never had any problem with the host migration and then this patch dropped and probably 5 or 6 times it failed to migrate the host and took about 3-4 minutes each time to decide to kick me out.
Really I'm just ready for the Type 95 and FMG nerf. |

Really I'm just ready for the Type 95 and FMG nerf. Just use the guns if they are so good? If they nerf the T95 then there will no burst fire left in the game. On the PS3 side the T95 doesn't always work well anyway if the lag comp is off. How about fix the important stuff like being able to turn off the brainwash music or joining a friend's or clanmate's party without invite... |

| the only thing i want nerfed is the goddamn striker. With extended mags and range/damage, it is unbeatable unless you're sniper-distance away. |

| I think I may try to level that bitch up in my next prestige. Been getting killed a lot by it lately. I think it's ok, but I've never leveled it up to range, and that's the big difference maker. Plus the extended mags for + damage glitch. |

| It will be interesting after all the gun patches what the masses all flock too. I never could get into the Type 95 and my trusty Stinger is always at my side so no worries for me with the nerfs! |

| The Type 95 never worked well for me......the right index finger doesn't move fast enough I guess. The Type 95 is only an issue when lag compensation comes into play and I die from 1 bullet. Too bad about the FMG9's I was working on akimboing them last night.....back to the MP9 I guess. |

I've gone prone and backed so far into corners no one could see me. Probably something much worse than that though. There was one guy I saw running around in the metal work holding up the dome. He was off the back of the platform, maybe that? With good detection and good aim the T95 was a one trigger pull kill, kind of like a sniper rifle that you can't quickscope. Thanks IW, dicks. |
