| hey guys thanks for all your input. my son got me a set x41 turtle beach headset for christmas and they are awsome. my wife laughs at me becuase i have them on everytime i play anything. so thanks again and if anyone else is thinking of getting a set i would say if you can swing it get a set. the only thing that becomes a pain is to hook them up. i got lucky that my tv has a optic output on it. make sure you have everything you need before you leave the store because you may need some extra cables to get them to work correctly. |

Unless we are kickin ass and there are heli's, reapers, preddies and ........well when all that shit is goin down you ain't hearin no footsteps..
Best investment in my gaming time, next to joinin up with the >30< Same here. Was thinking of going wireless but decided don't change it if it's working. I did not notice a huge difference in actual sound between the DPX21s and the PX5s (wireless) My situation is a bit more chaotic than most with 3 kids and dogs constantly running in front of me, pulling/chewing on cables, etc. I just hated all the tangled mess with the cables. And now I can leave them on when I get up to get beer/take a leak, etc. |

| In the past 30 days I have now entered my 4th turtle beach headset experience. Started with DX-21's where the mic broke and didn't work. Replaced them with wireless x-31's. Batteries die within 2 hours of game play and I am constantly changing them. Everyone I play with complains of echoing feedback on it. Lastly the wireless interferes with my xbox and won't let me connect. I then have to unplug the headset, connect the xbox and then re-connect the headset. Returned them. Then I bought another DX-21 set. Got them home and used them for a week and one ear speaker stopped working. Returned those and grabbed some new MW3 version called Delta I think? Lasted 4 days without something wrong so far. Optimistic I may get a month out of them. Our Best Buy carries nothing but Turtle Beach so what option do I have? |

| I just bought the black ops edition trittion from gamestop for 150 bucks a week ago and so far I love them. They are surround sound so they sound freakin awesome, the seem to be build really well. There is no mic monitoring but I have gotten used to that. I think the tritton 720 pros are the set. I would suggest these to everyone. Oh yea they look badass too. http://m.gamestop.com/Catalog/Product/78701 |

- I have. Call of Duty: MW3 Ear Force Foxtrot by Turtle Beach so far great!
Just picked these up myself to replace my old pair. Had the x11s. Went extra cheap with the x11s because they were the 1st ones Ive ever used. Wasn't sure Id like wearing a headset. Now I cant imagine myself playing without a pair. I would recommend the Foxtrots to anyone looking for a headset but not wanting to break the bank. Great sound, mic and they are comfortable. |

| Savvy those look sweet, I am in the market for the big upgrade myself... My only fear is the bluetooth, BT does not compare to the mics on even the cheapest headsets. I will look for actual consumer reviews before dropping major coin on this headset. For nearly $300 TTL... LoL I dont want BT quality audio to my clannies For the price it still seems Astros are the way to go when your talking that much coin.
But I am on the lookout with ya... |

But I am on the lookout with ya... Not sure how "bad" the BT audio will be. I am using the Sony PS3 headset now and it is BT but the MW3 chat is crap so no real way to tell yet. I am hopeful that these XP400s are the answer I am looking for cause now that I have seen the wireless headset world I can not go back to wired. |

| The game is so loud it really detracts from a lot of smaller sounds. I think it is better now than it initially was but there is still far too much going on. If you really want to put your set to the test when you get them then fire up Black Ops with Ninja Pro and get ready for some fun. |

| I bought my son the MW3 foxtrot set and they are great except the mic is very sensitive. A few days later I bought x41 and had nothing but problems with my Xbox live connection. After a few calls with Microsoft support I found out the x41 set uses the same bandwidth as my wireless router. I spent a day trying different ways to fix it and had no luck without buying a new router. I sold them on eBay yesterday and am going to wait until the new Tritton sets are released. |

| I bought the ear force delta's for christmas... i liked them but got tiard of having to pull the rechargeable batteries out every night.. so i decided to take them back and get some wired ones.. i ended up getting the dx 11's.. there just the regular x11's with the dss processor that gives you the surround sound.. they were way less and i actually like them better .. thay have a better sound and are way more comfortable in my opinion.. and i just noticed thay are doing the same package with the dx12's and the dss2... im very happy with mine.. i use them for tv and gameing.. i kinda miss the bluetooth on the deltas but that and the programable preset's are the only real diffrence |
