Hopped on for a quick game when I got home from work. When the match started everyone in the game had a 4 bar connection. Things were going good then the screen started to jump. Checked the connections and everyone was rocking a one bar, and that continued for the rest of the game. How is that possible?

Damn all this talk about shit connections and lag makes me so badly want to throw MW3 back in my ps3 Its been over 2 weeks without lag and poor hit detection so im guessing if i was to run some MW3 id get beyond pissed if i saw even an ounce of lag. I paid for elite so ill be playing the new maps when they arrive but how much fun will come of it will be seen. I miss playing with you guys big time so maybe one night soon ill suck it up and run some matches of dom.

I don't think that the person hosting is the connection issue. I think there are a number of things that affect gameplay. I was in a lobby with Euk30 about a week ago. I was not the lobby leader but for some reason we kept getting west coast lobbies which gave the four of them yellow bar connections and myself four bar. I don't understand how i can join up with a EUK majority with them hosting and they choose a west coast host. I think the only worse connection for them is if they choose a hawaiian host. I felt bad . I'll take a crap connection every time if it gives the majority good ones.

I have been noticing some patterns depending on who is in my party. Keep I mind that I am about as west as it gets (except for kamea6) and in Canada. Anyone near NY: ANGE, NYDaver, mjc etc. I can hardly play the match, and it is a consistent problem. Other things I have noticed is that a party of 6, as we know is hit and miss. But if beckvillebird is there, no way we are starting a match (it will sit a 9), and this is sometime true for Fireman too. No offence to anyone, I am part of each of these equations too. FBD, sadly we have not played together that much so it's hard to say, but nothing is standing out.

With this patch you can no longer back out of a game without picking a class with no loss. Any back out of a game now is a loss

i've been having the same problem, i watch killcams and wonder if these guys have x ray vision, or they had special training from anjelina jolie on how to curve your shots.

I run a class with Recon Pro with the XM25, MK14, Frag, and flash bangs. If I cause any splash damage or bullet damage the opponent will be lit up on the mini-map.

The only way to stop this is use DSpro, but I am not sure if it stops it completely.

If I also run DSpro with the ReconPro I can see and hear people around the corner and come around firing.

So I use to think people were cheating because there were no UAVs up and they knew where was I was. But now I know someone probably has ReconPro.

I like the nerf to akimbo and striker since I use neither. But what's the point for using akimbo now?

I noticed a huge difference to the akimbo machine pistols. They used to saw people in half, not it's taking me multiple hit markers.

The only positive thing about the patch was the mics are VERY much improved. You can actually have conversations in the lobby again.

I agree with FBD, mics work now! I am an admitted fmg abuser and I noticed a decrease in range...

I got the stryker almost leveled up before the patch and I notice a slight difference with it.

Once I hit 1000 kills with it I am switching to a different shotty anyways.

Being 10-80 is kind of boring so I am just going to level up guns.

I run the MP9 akimbo with the stryker.

It is nice hearing everyone again.

Almost forgot what it was like to hear Rif say a complete sentence.

I love the change to shotguns at least.
Still can't kill anyone over 20 feet away but...(nothing fiddled with range or damage proficiencies)

Fireman was hillarious the other night. I thought he was playing clips from the movie.

The Stryker, for me, seems better with range than damage.
Big diifference once you put either range or damage on. It is worth leveling up.

I have been getting killed a lot lately from the Spas. Still trying to decide which shotty to try next.

Someone I played with the other night was a beast with the 1887.
Don't know what the trick is to it.
