I will have this game by this weekend, I need a break from the lack of hit detection.

Lots of posts and threads around about the game to browse. Much harder though to just "jump into" compared to the CoD games though. You need to get rid of that mentality of running and gunning and realise that the people who have played longer have the advantages due to map knowledge, more weapons/attachments and upgraded vehicle "perks" that you won't have.

You roll with the 30's though and you'll be fine.

Nice!!! Now we need some mire early afternoon EC guys to pick it up so I'll have people to play with. Usually Manic is the only one on BF3 same times as me.

...and we don't have a clue. HAHAHAHA

I think so far BF3 has about a 90% satisfaction rate from x30x members who moved from MW3 to BF3. The BF3 "official" over 30 platoon on the EA Battlelog website has 30 members with about 12-14 consistently active.

Pfft. I'm leaving this crappy BF3 clan for a real COD clan! I have no time to fly dorky planes and drive lame tanks. Lag just makes COD more interesting and unpredictable! And bad hit detection keeps you on the edge of your seat...will I get the kill or just an assist?

And I'm going to create a new hardcore PSN name with lots of Xx's and Zz'z to reflect my badassery.

@stream...expect to get your butt kicked for a while, and don't get to worked up. Spawn on your teammates and follow to the flags for the captures. You start roaming by yourself, and you shall be shot. Over, and over...

Seriously though,

We had so much fun and the ability to communicate in Blops. Remembering the complaining we had in Blops almost seems foolish now when compared to the issues in MW3.

Are people TRULY having fun in MW3 because I know I'm not. Not the kind of fun and true CLAN FEEL we had in Blops. It was a place to shoot the shit and shoot the shitty all at the same time. Now we can't communicate to shoot the shit and most of the time I feel like I'm the shitty one.

Host Pro and shotgun hit markers were about the only TRUE gripe I have with Blops. Just read the countless threads here to understand the extend of MW3 issues.

I had Battlefield Bad Company 2 while having Blops and I only played it a bit as I'd ALWAYS jump on to Blops. Fast forward to BF3 and MW3 and I am barely playing MW3 now! WTF....

Hopefully we can get the full clan feel back with so many moving to BF3 once the mics are fixed and if we figure out if Team chat works over Squad chat so we can have a full team of x30x kicking ass!

At least until Blops 2 or whatever Treyarch's next release is.

I'm still hopeful that MW3 will be fixed. They have far too much at stake to ignore the root problems. If the lag comp gets fixed and the coms tweaked we'll be back in business. It's as if they tried to implement too many improvements at once and just didn't get anything 100% dialed in.

The KS packages and selectability is a huge improvement in the franchise. Specialist is awesome. The weapons are generally good and balanced (except Striker with Range or Damage, and akimbo FMGs).

They totally whiffed on the lobby privacy settings and the matchmaking is crappy, but overall, they had some good ideas.

Not giving up just yet.
